Mozilla announces list of slowest performing Firefox addons

In fact, firefox will now show warnings to users using addons which are in the list.

I personally use xmarks for password sync. I know it's not a big deal but you guys know a better alternative?

No more switching to chrome :nopenope:. Uninstall these and FF4 will rock again. Firefox FTW!

It's annoying they only base this list on start up time, rather than general browsing speed. Start up doesn't really bother me.

i smell love for chrome. afaik memory leak hasnt appeared in FF4. but yes, there will be outrage in developers once they start giving out warnings.

chrome is my daily browser now because I use a few plugins for firefox that broke in 4.0 upgrade but I still need them for botting so I keep 3.6. 3.6 is a fucking bear, so slow. It blows my mind it eats more ram than Photoshop

Have you checked with those addons lately? Everyday more and more addons are fixed to work with FF4. Can you name them?

How many times do you completely shut down FF and restart it? I have it running until it crashes or I need to update or reboot, which is to say, rarely.

FF4 is running fast and smooth as hell for me, and my PC is almost 5 years old.

Yeah it has a really fast feel to it, on par with chrome IMO. The pinning feature is really nice too.

Have you found a way to import your saved logins from firefox?
