Virgin Islands are nice, but if there is a hurricane your internet connection can be down for months. We have a house on the far end of St John and when things are working well it is great, if connections go down, you are at the end of the earth.
Where ever you go, make sure that you have multiple options of connecting as the infrastructure and the quality of labor varies greatly.

I don't agree with that. Moved around a lot. As long as the family is tight, the kids learn how to make friends, how not to become too attached or dull, and get a broader perspective on the world.
But like I said, Mommy and Daddy gotta be there for them and keep shit tight. Families are very portable.
Out of principle, I absolutely will not go anywhere where there are mandatory death sentences for drug use or possession.
Go be an Aussie. You still have access to good shit unlike Costa Rica or one of those other remote locations. Would be really hard for me to live in a country where it was super hard to get things I consider "regular". Sure for a vacation it's fun to be adventurous but to live is a whole different story.
Man, I'm in the same situation. Wife and two kids under the age of 4. We're probably going to go for some manner of globetrotting option.
Panama has interesting options for expats. Financial rights are supposedly written into their constitution. Big on privacy. Big on telling the IRS to suck a fat one.
Chile is another one to look at in Latin America. Fucking beautiful, and cheap.
Other than that, I would say go for what a few have already suggested. Pick a handful of locations around the globe and just move constantly between them. Take plenty of side trips and just see everything you can.

No native English speaking but you can get by speaking English for your everyday life, plus your kids won't have any problem learning a new language.

Right now you can buy your own country and yes be the King for $750,000,000. It has been for sale for a few years so the current king may be willing to negotiate. The countries name is Sealand and it is 6 miles off the coast of England. I was so amazed when I found out about this country I was thinking of making a thread about it but...

I love Thai food, the Thai people in general are pretty cool, the country has tons of economic upside.
But the government situation is insane, AND I think this is one of those countries where SWF get kidnapped regularly and never seen again.
Good call on taking it off the list. Even if you are fucking John Rambo, Thailand is one mission you have to do alone.
