I've got three rules I never break:
1, Think about what your clients want (imagine yourself in their shoes).
2, Make as much bucks ($) as you can and until you can.
3, Do NOT be too agressive when you sell anything.

More regulation, especially in the US, where they've capped the interest rate in a lot of states and banned loans to people in the military. Although UK is getting closer to that stage.

I already knew this, but was wondering if it's causing real downward pressure on ROI. There's also competition from conventional banks which are getting into the subprime loan area.

I think that if anybody's running payday as their main income source they need to save themselves and diversify.

Payday is not dead. It is still doing very well. It's definitely still one of the most profitable niches.

Profitable niches are the ones with less competition and therefore higher ROI. Or you can go with the ones flooded with everyone and their mother trying to rank, therefore reducing overall ROI.
