Hi Drew, yes using affiliate links in press releases has always been fine for us in the past so I don't see any issues there.
 
what are you doing now that PR Web is not accepting anymore orders? I'm interested in the Platinum but not at that price when PR Web isn't possible for syndication?

Where did you get that information from?

We are one of the few official resellers of PRWeb and there is no issue with them accepting our releases.

Another press release provider.

The fake Google/ICOA acquisition that was released by someone through PRWeb made them stop receiving submissions for the time being. Apparently affected all 20,000 resellers.

So I'm trying to find a new press release provider now

They have simply updated their Editorial Guidelines now to help combat that same thing happening again.

We do have to follow the new rules set in place but we have submitted and had many releases approved and made live since all that drama.

A lot of lower quality agency's are dropping out and not using PRWeb any more as they find the stricter rules too hard to work with. As we are using professional writers we are not too fazed by the changes.

The new guidelines will only do good things in the long run for the quality of results they provide. In the past there were a lot of low quality / spam releases getting through.
