i've got a little sneaky exit popup tip to share which works like gangbusters...

in your exit popup, direct link to your offer and use this message in your popup itself...

"Thank you for your purchase!

Please fill out the form on your right and your order will be shipped to you in approximately 24-48 hours' time."

basically, it fools the viewer into thinking that he's already ordered. of course, the viewer would think that it's a system glitch and he'll fill out the form out of sheer greed.

What if... instead of direct link to that offer, you direct link to another offer? I mean, since you didnt get the sale on the first offer, you show offer #2 then, totally different vertical, and when they X out of offer #2, you load offer #3, another vertical. You could go through all your promotions on one poor sap.

You wont make any sales but hey, this is all about pissing off the user right? LOL

Methinks you haven't really made much profit with this technique or otherwise you wouldn't be telling the world about it, especially since you are suggesting that we purposely deceive the prospect into buying something they do not want.

Why don't you back up your advice with some real data and then explain why you aren't fucking the advertiser with a lead that will be explosively pissed off when they get some strange charge on their credit card statement.

If you can't do that then quit giving AM a bad name with bullshit cons that aren't even proved to be affective.
