Mini NSFW videos in sigs?

Trust me, I'm not offended or judging, but with a couple of those videos (messaging boobs and floor view up the shirt) on any thread that has a post from those members-makes WF a little harder to take take out in public. Its up to everyone to do what is they think is right. BTW-I love you two members with the videos in the sigs that I mentioned, so please don't be get upset with me......I'm venting, NOT judging.

I personally think that the more often members can access the forum, the better. More access=more posts=more info and fun for all members. I thought it was a great step to have the icons like NSFW and BOOBS so that it made WF more user freindly in public, around the co-workers, around the kids, around the partners ("But, honey, I'm reading the articles, not looking at the pictures!") and it gave members more choices (go straight for the boobs or avoid them).

I'm sure there are more videos to come. I just ask members to please think about this before you make a decision which video you want to use to represent you/bring attention to your posts.

This is how I solved that problem, because I'm pretty sure when the logs at work show that my computer was reloading boobs.gif every few minutes, I'd get my ass tossed out of my job.
I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. I downloaded a free extension called Adblock. I right clicked on the image in question and clicked "block". Now I never have to see it at work. (Okay so I blocked it at home too)

User CP - Edit Options - Thread Display Options - Show Signatures

Or in the "hosts" file on Windows.
 
I'm using one that is just called "AdBlock" - looks like this "plus" version just came out in August. Looks like it has identical features. I use it to block flash ad videos on the news sites I read too.
 
heh ya...ive run into this as well, and well since this is an anything goes forum, theres not much anyone can do, so i just accept it .... turning off sigs is yur best option...and trust me i even pmed fenryr asking him to change his sig heh, buttt what can ya dooo....i just need to clear my cache n crap at work now before they boot my ass....
 
Yeah, while I have no problems with boobs... my GF doesn't appriciate it when everytime she turns around while I'm on the computer, there's a set of dancing titties on the screen.

My kids keep telling my wife that i'm on 'that website with all the boobies' again. My son wants the website address so he can have a look. Well, he is 14, so I gave it to him....

Hopefully he can learn something useful while he's looking at the titties....
 
I think that this is a valid point, and I do hope that it doesn't get any more "hardcore". I do enjoy the sigs, especially Fen's (goodness it makes me smile), but I think it's best if everyone just used their adblocker...
 
I am pretty sure you don't need a plug-in with Firefox, just right click on the image and then click "Block Images from (domain.)"
