"They're not even in the same ballpark," he said. "There is no THC in it. With marijuana you get addicted, salvia is not addictive—you may try it once and never try it again."
great, now states and feds are going to flip out on salvia
She over acts on everything. One hit and a couple seconds later she is tripping out, nothing is that fast. It's like the people who think they are drinking alcohol acting like they are drunk.
Clearly those in the video are only putting up with her because she is a celebrity, which is obvious by how the girl holding the camera comments.
that was such bad acting. The moment she hit it she tells the camera she's having a bad trip and starts hallucinating and giggling like she doesn't know whats going on.
I've smoked the hell out of salvia and never got anything more than a headache and gut rott. Some trusted stoner friends of mine who I know wouldn't fake it have smoked it and hallucinated but it takes at least 10 mins for it to set in and they describe the trip as not really a hallucination, more of just you see a few weird colors and the walls seem to sway around. As I understand it salvia only works on certain body chemistries and mine obviously isn't one of them.
that makes me wonder. Now that I think about it the only people I know that salvia actually worked on were people who do a lot of acid and shrooms. And I did all my experimenting with salvia well before i ever tried acid or shrooms and I tried it many times with all different potencies. Maybe thats the trick. It pulls chemicals out of your spinal cord or some shit so if you've done a lot of hallucinogens it works better. idk.I don't know what potency you guys had, but the one time I tried salvia I was full out tripping within 30-45 seconds. Lasted about 5 minutes and then left me kind of fuzzy for a few hours (this was probably 8 years ago). I've taken enough LSD in my life to take down a herd of elephants, so I've got a little experience with hallucinates.
edit: When I tried it I saw everything as really blurred and green. Lots of tracers and it felt like someone was taking the entire room and trying to turn it on its side.
