So are they successful with any of that, aside from Xbox?
M$ drags their Windows baggage with them everywhere they go. The equivalent would be Apple calling their mobile OS for iPhones and iPad MacMobile and making it look like a scaled down version of Macintosh. Anyway, my point was M$ is stale, and so is the logo.
"Mac" isn't an operating system. iOS does look like a scaled down version of "Macintosh". It's called something different because it IS something different, a dumbed down, less versatile OS that restricts users from doing any form of multitasking and normal PC operations.
Windows, on the other hand, will allow users to use their mobile devices much as they would their desktop.
Now who's providing the more versatile and forward thinking mobile OS product out of the two of them?
I'd get Android or Windows over iOS because, first and foremost, I want to do business on my mobile devices, not play games.
The logo is fine. Simple with flat colors is the way most Fortune 500 companies brand themselves these days. Heck most don't even have a device, they simply have a font spelling out their names (Canon, Sharp, Siemens, Phillips, Panasonic, Zara, Sony, etc., etc., etc.). See the already posted sheet of logos if you don't understand this.
