A/B Testing
Normally I dont post about tools and their use, but I have used this tool for a while now helping automate some shit with finding KWs and such.

About 15 days ago this tool stopped working because of the change with Google's kw tool and the fact you couldnt use their legacy url for the search info.

Can anyone with a current copy of this tool confirm if the developers have fixed the issue now?

Market Samurai had this same issue, but I think it was fixed within 2 days on their end, but I really like using MNF since I have automated the tasks with it.

Just looking to see if it has been fixed or not for those that have it.

Just upgraded to 5.2.2 using the S3Ripper and the bucket "micronichefinderupdate". Seems to work just fine.

From the changelog...

If you have already installed the new update (with the New Keyword Tool support, 5.2.0 or 5.2.1) and are having problems with searches, please select Check for Program Updates from the Options menu.

After releasing today's 5.2.0 update, we discovered that users outside the United States had problems with the new search screen "hanging". This has been corrected in 5.2.2.

If you have not yet installed the latest version, please see below:

We have posted a new update for Micro Niche Finder, which now uses the 'new' Keyword Tool as the data source for searches.

Please note that some functionality in this update is currently disabled. Disabled functionality in this update includes:

  • Brainstorm
  • Hot Trends
  • Quick Add
  • Import
  • Export
  • Print Results
  • Narrow Dig
  • Broad Dig
  • Google Suggest Search
  • LSI Search
  • Buying Keywords Search
This update pulls (up to) the first 100 results based on your seed keyword/phrase. We anticipate adding "auto-login" to AdWords accounts after we have completed the integration of the components named in the "disabled functionality" list.

The disabled functionality will be available in the next major update, tentatively scheduled for next week. There is no need to contact support about disabled functionality. After 9 days without search capability, we felt it was more important to get this release with search functionality to you as soon as possible. We will be adding the rest of the functionality over the next few days.

During testing, we discovered the new search functionality works best if you have Internet Explorer 8 installed on your computer. You do not have to use IE as your default web browser, but if you do not have IE8 installed on your computer we strongly recommend installing it.

Thank you for your patience over the past week as we worked around the clock to provide access to the "new" Keyword Tool data.
