Met Anyone Famous??

That sucks

I remember that, pretty sad day. I was never much of a NASCAR fan but he was one of the few drivers I knew.

Lame story, but I went to my first Daytona 500 in 2001. It was actually a fun day, I was like 11, and was a big NASCAR fan. Dale Earnhardt was my absolute favorite driver. My mom and dad surprised me by getting me a pass to shake his hand before he went out on the truck.

Three guesses on what happened a few hours later.

Jean Reno at BenKay restaurant in Paris, recognized him immediately, I'm a fan of his movies so I thought it was neat.. got 2 signatures.

Hmm... I used to date one of the hottest singers (both physically and on the charts hot) in Thailand now.

Most of you have no idea who she is, but whatever, everyone here knows her.

I met a ton of celebs back in the day at the Forum Club at the Great Western Forum, before the Lakers moved to Staples Center. I used to sell cars to Jerry Buss' daughter Janie (not Jeanie, Phil's girlfriend) and she would give me her season seats all the time. Center court, 5 rows off the floor.

Carmen Electra - probably isn't 5 feet tall, but smokin hot
Tia Carerra - nice enough
David Spade, short as shit, but funny
Paula Abdul. Sat next to her and her hot friend one game. She's ok. Friend was better.
Snoop - this was back when his solo stuff was taking off. He had a huge crew with him, but he was nice enough to take a couple of pics. Higher than a mother fucker though.
Shaq - didn't really say much, just hi and a photo.
George Wendt - Norm from Cheers. Nice guy
Phil Mickelson - very nice
Cameron Diaz - just ok
Dennis Rodman - Hung out on his boat in newport beach. That guy could party like a mo fo.
Magic Johnson - nice man
Cheech Marin - funny dude
Adrian Young - Drummer for No Doubt. Played in a charity golf tourney with him. Very nice guy.
Jerry West - nice man
Mike Devereaux - Former Dodger. Nice guy, decent golfer
Tony Gwynn - nicest guy in the world
James Worthy - Played in a golf tournament. He made us all do shots of Jack Daniels on the course. That was a fun time.
Reggie Jackson - met him in a strip club. He had about 8 chicks at his table, but he was a cool guy.

Those are the one's that come to mind.

Actual interactions, not sightings. Mostly in airports:

Bruce Willis
Jonathan Frakes
Chris O'Donnell
Melissa Etheridge
Willard Scott
The Big Show (Paul Wight)
Pat Morita
Phil Collins

Renzo Gracie
Rashad Evans
Seth Petruzelli

I actually train at Renzo's school but I only see him when he's there, which is not often. He's a cool guy though.

Haha nice, Renzo is someone I would really like to train with.

I've met Demian Maia and Marcello Garcia, but just seminars. They were both awesome.

* Beastie Boys:

Mike D - dickhead
Adrock - really polite guy, softspoken

* Phil Collins. I knew his son Simon as a kid, because Phil's ex-wife moved with their kids to Canada. Phil came to visit a couple times. Friendly guy, but kind of makes fun of everyone. British humor I guess, but as a 10 year old I was like "Why are you making fun of me?"

* Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel. Cocky and "macho" in a friendly way. Kind of like a Robert De Niro.

* Ehud Olmert - another former Israeli PM. Cocky fuckhead who carries a cigar 24/7 whether he's smoking or not.

* Maria Ozawa - top Japanese porn star. Regular chick, friendly if someone introduces you.

* Wayne Gretzky - legendary hockey player. Fuckhead. I was leading a summer program with some kids around age 7-8 and we ran into Gretzky, and he refused to shake a few hands or sign an autograph. I was like "Can you sign just one for our group and I'll photocopy it for all the kids?" and he was just like "No. Sorry bud".
