I don’t think I like that idea. I like being able to go straight to the area I need. Often I pass right by "Shooting The Shit" and the rest to get to "Buy Sell and Trade" or some other forum. It seems to me, that even if the search feature is a good one, I’ll have to scroll past all the other categories to get to what I’m looking for. I’d rather not have to do that.
If part of the reason this forum was created was to teach people, it makes sense that we need to keep everything categorized and easily accessible for people browsing for a specific topic.
I’m new to all this online marketing stuff, and am in the process of building a site. I refer back to WF all the time looking for answers to questions I have. I scroll through the old posts all the time. Having everything separated out as they are now makes this process easy.
At the same time, I’m willing to try anything. Make the change, and let us play with it. If all else fails, you can always turn it back.
