First of course you have to have some goals for 2007! Year goals tend to be more vague than a monthly or daily goal, that's OK.

These are just a few simple helpful hints, please add more ideas for meeting goals set for 2007.

So first you make your list. (make more money on line, etc)
Once you do that, take a good inventory of exactly where you stand. (I made xxx in 2006)
Decide the details of meeting the goal (I want ot make xxx more money in 2007)
Break it down per month (earn xxx per month)
Now make your plan to accomplish the goal (make sites, advertise, outsource, etc)
List the tasks needed to be done to meet the goal and spread them out throughout the year.
Evaluate and make sure you have a realistic and achievable plan of action for meeting your goal.
Seek support and be accountable to someone regarding you goals.

My goals

Personally, I am not focussing too much on all sort of financial goals! Gives me only headache, though I work as much as I can on my projects & my labtop shows wallpaper of new Porsche 911 Carrera S (see link), that keeps me motivated heh... :D That's what I want to drive in 2007!!

Funny thing is that while I am typing this post, someone passing by at my back seeing pic of this Porsche and asking me if I am 'fantasizing'... well, I don't think so! That probably makes the difference between me & him. Believing in something is a very powerful thing I think! :)

Jan, thanks for the tips. Good point re breaking down the steps re each goal. This is really helpful since sometimes goals seem too big or complicated. Breaking it down into concrete, easily repeatable steps helps a lot and keeps up one's motivation for the long haul.
