Meat Exposed. Why you should be Vegetarian

Only problem is you can never really stock up on meat, unless you freeze it, but even then it rarely turns out good. You usually have to eat it the same day you buy it. You can sometimes let it sit in the fridge for one day, but usually that's it. After that it's rancid, and you have to put it in the garbage.

I guess that's probably a good thing though. Raw meat isn't supposed to last 5 days.

Smoked meat or dried meat has been the way the preserve meat for ages. Get some dried or smoked lamb for example, very tasty.

LOL at the guy who feels like man for killing animals. Sounds a lot like driving a monstor truck as a way to compensate for other shortcomings.

You couldn't be more wrong here Jeffrey; US cattle is mostly fed CORN... Which cows did not evolve eating. (Because corn was subsidized and is cheaper than grass.)

This does make for a fatty steak though, so it certainly adds to the whole US human waistline issue.

Demand grass-fed beef, bros.

BradleyT2p2; that doc was awesome. Thanks for the share.
Brilliant argument Luke. I especially liked the part where you brought up information that was in no way related to my point. You really are losing your fucking mind.

Americans aren't fucking fat because of red meat. That's one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard. They are fat because they eat processed foods all the time.

omfg i havent laughed that hard in fucking weeks. ahahahaha.

Lololololololololol...

Just in case you're not joking; I don't get much beef anymore... It's mainly chicken and I mainly get that from whole foods markets. And flouride in the water would have to seep through my skin to get to me, I drink bottled water here too.

You might have a point with those pesky chemtrails though...

Check the label on your bottled water. Usually has fluoride in it.

Monster trucks didn't feed human civilization for thousands of years, hunting and killing animals did- it's the instinctual pleasure of providing for yourself and your family using your primal skills instead of buying your livelihood off of a shelf. Just because rednecks do it because they like to play with guns doesn't make it universally trashy, it depends entirely on the hunter and his intentions.

I've personally never hunted or killed my own meat, but I plan on giving it a try the first chance I get- growing up in suburbia doesn't often present those opportunities.

If you kill and eat George Zimmerman the Black Panthers will pay you $1,000,000. You should be able to do that in suburbia.

Ahem, I was addressing the words:

Americans are not fat because meat/meat products are "tasty and cheap." Americans are fat because they would rather go buy 3 big macs or a large pizza than cooking a healthy meal for themselves.
Subsidized-corn-fed-cattle has everything to do with the affordability of said junk food.

The part where I said it was fatty because it's corn fed is just a bonus... I'll certainly concede that beef alone isn't doing making us all so fat.

Cattle is one (Probably the best) example of this artificially-cheapened cuisine. And without the cheapness of junk food, American's wouldn't be eating it, and therefore, NOT FAT.

It's sad that I have to spell all of this out for some of you kids but I guess this will help to remind me to dumb-down my points next thread I respond to... So thanks for the reminder.

So you are saying unsubsidized cattle is the key to defeating obesity? LOL. My point is Luke, eating red meat isn't making Americans fat. Drinking soda, eating fast food, watching tv for 4 hours, and pounding down krispie kreme donuts are the things that are making America fat.

I'll dumb it down for you Luke. THIS ISN'T ABOUT FUCKING ECONOMICS. IT'S ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY EATING AND DRINKING.

Hope I dumbed it down for you Luke. I'll remember that some members here have their heads so far up their own asses, they truly believe like they know everything. If you really have some balls Luke, "enlighten" me on Skype.

Fatty meat is more flavorful meat typically. A well marbleized piece of meat (ie fatty) such as in steak is preferable.

People are not fat because of fat. They are fat from over consumption of calories and sugar in general. The removal of fat in fact from a lot of food probably causes more problems than the original fat ever did. When I see fat free all I can associate with it is, some sort of chemical filler. They have to replace the fat some how and it sure as hell typically isn't natural.

No wonder Aliens don't openly visit us lol... If I flew to a planet and I watched one species dominate the other species of that planet and treat them like that I wouldn't open communications either.

To an alien, he wouldn't see life here as we do...he wouldn't see humans and animals as different species, with humans having this born right to dominate and enslave other species for their will. (Not that he would have to, because depending on when they visited they would of seen us enslaving other humans as well)

An alien would see an advanced, hostile species that enslaves weaker species and the more powerful it gets the more it will dominate and enslave.

Would you stop by and say hello?

When the alien race of Broccoli Heads see all you vegans eating their brethren, do you think they're gonna stop by and say hello?

Depending on what the food is, fat is often replaced with sugar. You see this in a peanut butter and yogurt a lot.

You're right on that but they add all kinds of stuff including artificial sweeteners to keep the calorie count low.

Yogurt is a power food (well Greek Yogurt is). Don't know why you wouldn't want to eat it at full strength.

Agreed. I absolutely love greek yogurt. I eat two a day and mix in some blueberries or raspberries into one. Tastes amazing.
