May I get your opinion on my site?

I wanted to chime in here for one main reason – I know Jason Personally from my time spent in Dallas and he is a good friend of mine.

Prior to any of my comments below, this guy is not lying about his process or income results.

At his request, I went out with him 1 night as he drove from Restaurant to Restaurant, each time he would come back with a fist full of cash (sometimes $80 – $250) with each stop.

He asked me the same questions above and I have him similar feedback, however I didn’t use the term “Donkey Dicks” directly to his face. . . . Or did I?

At any rate - few things to note;

Jason is NOT an internet marketer; he is a sales guy that works well face-to-face.

He is quiet sincere, and while sincerity works face to face – it is often never even contemplated with online sales.

---------------------------------------

I personally don’t think this product has a viable place on the internet – and I told this to Jason multiple times.

So I advised him to write an eBook targeting servers - Perhaps “How to Double Your Tips in Less Than 1 Hour” and sell it for $50.
With each eBook he can then give away a “Free” t-shirt as a bonus-add-on.

This single move boost his avg. ticket sale to over double where it is now and it targets the natural greed inside every server who wants to make more money.

But at the end of the day – t-shirts DO sale online. But in order to do this he needs more designs, better designs, and a better presence in order to make it online.

So to summarize this you have 2 options:

#1) Don’t fix what is not broken, keep going out there and hustling down up to $1k / night in a few short hours.

#2) Use your skills in the t-shirt / screen printing biz to modify your product line and make a new / fresh strike.

Since I know Jason personally – It’s easy to say “I do believe him . . . he can do it”.

Couple things
1) can you rebrand 86badtips.com, I don't get the title or name of store. I don't think it's funny I guess you are trying to make a joke about waitors and waitresses getting crappy tips. Also at first glance, the title seems like you are offering 86 "bad tips" or a list of anti-self-help advice.

2) Yes I agree with the general consensus your site has poor design and is not engaging. Not to be sexist but get hot chicks in your photos, have hot chicks with big boobs advertise your t-shirts that always works.

Also I am looking at your front page, it makes me think you only have 4 t-shirts that's all I see.
There is no significant navigation, your site looks very small. Also is the only thing you are doing putting print on t-shirts? If so what makes you different from any of the other gazillion t-shirt stores online that print text on a t-shirt?

3) Your statistics may mean nothing because you are in a very very niche topic. If you are getting 2500 uniques for keywords like t-shirts or funny t-shirts that doesn't mean shit because these are generic, ppl are literally looking for any funny t shirt. You are doing "waitress t-shirts" or more "funny waitress tshirts" so not sure how much that is searched. Basically analyse your statistics and see if you search terms are generic, if the are that can help explain the low conversion rate.

On the flip side, if you got 2500 visits from search terms each month related exactly to funny waitress t-shirts or waitress t-shirts then I would say you have a conversion problem.

I don't even think a review is real unless it references genitalia at least once.

I suggest you hire or pay someone to do some designs on your site. It need to have better look for you to have better sales.

I bet you are asking people what they think of your site because you almost not profiting from it. So go on. fix it

Don't know bro . . . I work online for a living and have done so for 10 years+ - I said that to say that if you send me a PM, I bet I respond (unless you try to get me to click on makemonies).

86baptips works primarily offline.

Alright.. even if this may sound harsh.

If the guy can't take all the sound advice on this threat and even implement the easy things, he is an idiot.

If he can't even respond to PMs and emails of someone willing to help him, he is a hopeless idiot.

I clicked on the red t-shirt to see what it said on the back and felt like doing this:

If you want a site that actually converts, don't waste your time with guys who don't have any clue what they're doing. I can help you. Visit my site to get in touch. Hyper6 – Custom Websites, Landing Pages, Wordpress Themes, Business cards and More!

Who the fuck are you? You come on a thread pushing your weak acai berry landing pages and claim no one but you know what we are doing. Are you fucking kidding me? I mean if you took the time to look at your site, it's june nearly july and your shit still says copyrighted 2011. Way to pay attention to detail. Tout your weak work through PM, but disrepecting everyone on this thread giving free advice is probably the dumbest thing you could do, especially since you also posted your site, and it will be pretty easy to figure out your "clients", and this shit can spiral out of control real quickly, dumbass.

is it just me? I was looking around everywhere for how to actually buy one.

How about, include the option to buy a tshirt? That might help. Just throwing it out there.

Just in case the OP ever comes back and reads this, I actually think there might be a middle ground. The OP seems to know his market well and if I read correctly has at least 20 more designs that are actually selling. He only has so many nights a week to go out and sell directly, makes perfect sense to try to expand the business a bit by selling online.

First I would figure out where your 2500 uniques are coming from. If a lot of it is really people who have looked you up specifically because they saw your site on a t-shirt, that's great, you have people who really want to buy your product, you just have to make it easy for them (it's damn near impossible to buy now). If it's search traffic, figure out what those people are actually looking for to see if you have a chance at converting them.

I think if you just hire someone to give you a decent basic secure e-commerce website with a good shopping cart experience and make it very easy for them to buy, you'd probably get a great return on that investment. A few simple things like better photos and copy would go a long way. Oh and I agree with adding in the women's cuts! And the facebook page.
