He still refers to it as "unsupported allegations by facebook" and calls what is happening to him "defamation of character".

He doesn't have the stolen money anymore so thinks it's loss was enough punishment.

He argues they didn't need to nail him so hard with 5 attorneys. lol

The end of his "CONCLUSION":
Facebook should not be awarded ANY monetary figure for WRONGLY ACCUSING Martin Grunin for breach of contract and for fraud.

In some ways it's a real shame to see such a mental breakdown in a young kid, but I hope he can learn from it and be a become a sensible & reasonable adult as a result. If he doesn't then he's got no real quality future.

Do you guys have counselling in prisons over there?

If be counseling you mean watching TV 12+ hours a day then yes.

Usually it's counseling at being a better criminal.

Not sure the nuances between federal vs state prison. Looks like they're heavy on work and education programs, teaching you vocational skills.

BOP: Education

Depending on the restitution, he will have wages seized that can't go away from bankruptcy, and if you get married and your spouse buys a house they'll slap a lien against it for any equity deemed yours through marriage.

In prison, you get pennies per hour working a "real job" manufacturing license plates, welding, etc. IF you're lucky! A few times a year you can buy extremely overpriced items from commissary, like a cd player, headphones, petty shit.

Depending on the restitution, if family members send you money, sometimes it will be taken, or a portion of it, to pay restitution.

It's gloomy, my half brother hung himself with the bed sheet rather than serve his sentence after a couple years.
 
Jennison will hit him with a CTDA, but the prosecutor's office already had subpoenas for the bank accounts. The guy posted (still there) his TDA and TOS account numbers to youtube and elsewhere.

So you subpoena the wire/ach activity for these two accounts... leading to the BOFA account... which leads to the transaction data on the thinksmodo scam. All it takes is a subpoena and he gets 3-5 years.

What prosecutor doesn't want an easy slam dunk case?

Oh boy Grunin has a lot to look forward to. Grunin is going to take a massive quality of life hit thanks to his horrible decisions. In the end, Grunin's ego thinks it's all worth it since at least he's getting some infamy out of the deal.
 
IMO, he figured that FB wouldn't want to publicly admit that they were duped. That it would simply add a few 100K to a write-off. He was wrong.

You're fucked if the Feds come knocking at your door. You'll get indicted over this. Once that goes down, take the plea deal.

Swallow your pride, go to the pokey for 12-16 months and call it a day. Hell, once you're assigned to a prison camp, I'll send you a couple of books to help pass the time.

There will be no plea offered and he is not going to get months. I predict 5 to 7 Years (actual time he will serve) based on other computer fraud cases with similar dollar amounts stolen.

And why not, he acted like a supreme fuckin asshole during the Entire civil proceedings. Judge be like: yo bitch you Exist and You are not above the law. You don't accept this contract - ur ass mutha fucka!!

I'm going to say he'll get somewhere between a year and a day up to 36 months.
