When your lawyer-in-fact has his own legal troubles you might want to reevaluate. At this point I don't think this is going to end well for either of them.

Ouch. That charge comes with a minimum 1yr and maximum 6yr state prison tern in Nevada. Given that Brian was released from prison in another state from a 3yr term for the exact same charge I'm guessing it'll be on the high end of that range.

Ohhh, alright. I always just assumed it was either you defend yourself, or get a lawyer. Didn't know power of attorney went so far as to actually allow you in the courtroom.

So I can just grab a homeless guy off the street, give him $50, sign my name over to him, and say, "here dude, go see the judge for me"? Huh, learn something new everyday.

No I don't believe a Power of Attorney can allow some bum without a license to practice law to defend you or be in court on your behalf. Maybe in small claims court, but that's about it.

But with a Power of Attorney, you can generally do all sorts of things on behalf of another person. Practicing law isn't one of these things.

Ok, so I was right. Brian is NOT allowed in a courtroom, correct? Hence why FB filed a motion to have him punted off the case, I'm assuming? Talk about retarded. That's like hiring a software developer who isn't allowed access to any internet connected device.

Oh well, doesn't matter. Once the FB lawyers present the judge with Brian's rap sheet, that will be the end of that.

You should post that ticket info in his Facebook page, "reviews" section. Unless Facebook has changed their policy since I last checked, he can't delete the reviews without removing the review feature entirely.
