I think the amount Facebook spent on legal fees makes it pretty clear that despite Grunin's delusions, there was zero chance at a settlement. Facebook was out to make an example out of Grunin.
Wow, so many bitter failures getting all excited about mgrunin's girlfriend breaking up with him and laughing about him getting raped in prison...
Guess it really struck a nerve to see him balling out of control while you're all holed up in some basements still thinking about if only COPEAC hadn't stiffed you on that $1000 Açaí payment you'd be posting pictures of your crashed coups and making day trades too.
Reality is, even if mgrunin does go to prison he'll be out before you know it and getting money again -- stronger and wiser than ever. Meanwhile all of you will still be on r/wickedfire posting tired memes and rants about "the friendzone" and how if society was libertarian you'd be a success.

I dunno, the punitive damages is partially (probably heavily) based on the FMOTL stuff, and there's no way their legal bills would've gotten anywhere near that if PC hadn't had to show the entire office in to look at Brian: Robert! Costello's letters. Whether the damages would've been affordable anyway is another matter.
Grunin is saving that nugget for the criminal case. Boy is the US attorney going to be embarrassed!
Also it's great to see Grunin posting again and referring to himself in the third person on a troll account. Talk about delusional. Sorry son but you have zero skills which is why you ended up committing unsophisticated brazen crimes in the first place!
@Grunin: Projecting your own inadequacies on the people laughing at you will just cause them to laugh even harder. It's plain as day to anyone that isn't off the rails delusional that the only big loser here is you. After all you lost the lawsuit by default and now have a federal criminal investigation to experience.
Also let's not forget that you have back taxes and a civil judgment and neither can be discharged with a bankruptcy. When you get out of prison, you will be at a severe disadvantage versus your peers. Maybe that'll challenge you to prove everyone wrong, but so far we've seen a lot of ego and zero intellect from you.
Let's keep this one going and have it reach 100+ pages. That's what Martin Grunin would want.
