I was talking to one of our newer female members today, her name is Amy. She's buff. She has a hick accent. But best of all, she has a killer sense of humor, like all of our women here, which rock. She intimidated this Jew already with those guns she's sporting aka her arms.

But aside for that, she's an extreme newbie. She found WickedFire somehow, and has fallen in love with it. Even though she doesn't know all that much about internet marketing and advertising, she said she has been reading here like mad.

The part that lead me to creating this thread though was the fact that we don't have something for newbies whom we know will stay here for longer than the free ebook begger types, to chew on.

So let's all add our favorite ideas. New, old, overused, underused, all levels too.. newbie - expert.

The rules are to make one post using what you think would be the best way to go from zero to hero in ONE day and make $150 doing it. Keep it clean. Ethics and morals not required. Must be LEGAL (by US law, not Dutch).

$150 a day is nothing for most of you, so let's see how many of them we can come up with... Side bets on whether or not an ebook douchebag copies us and uses it in their ebook as their own ideas? Takers?

Post away boys and girls.... I'll jump in shortly with a few!

Damnit argh you beat me to it.

And welcome Amy, nice to see more strong and funny women. (and BTW what's your username?)

Anway check out this thread http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/19369-facebook-social-ads.html if you haven't already. FB is a great way to start and support yourself while your branching out and learning the rest of the IM world. Just make sure you don't put all your eggs in the FB basket. As I tell my hubby, "Excuse me, I'm spreading my eggs here." To which he's not amused.

To go from $0 to $150 in one day, probably the only thing you can do is ppc (facebook/adwords/whatever) -> CPA sites, and have enough startup money to throw into it so you can continue making $150 per day (not everyone gets 5x back the money they put in, so expect to spend a lot to get a little, etc.)

A better strategy is to build something long term and less volatile. That's why you'll see a lot of people suggesting making a niche blog about something you care about and monetizing it, or making a local database site. Those types of ideas may not make you $150 per day within a month, or even close to it, but they WILL make you money and teach you what things work and what things don't.

Going from $0 to livable income in one day is honestly an unrealistic goal for most people. It takes research, hard work, testing, more research, and more hard work, etc. Oh, and if you're an idiot who is unwilling to put in hard work and learn new things, you will probably fail. Sorry.

It's like this one bit I caught on a show where this hot lady is locked out of her SUV and she gets guys to crawl under her SUV to get her hide away key and they would get all greasy and shit. What was funny was when her boy friend walks up after the guys had to crawl under it twice and get a shake dumbed on them.

/me waits for jons examples :D

btw: been here for a year and visit almost daily. i have some natural seo affiliate marketing going on thats been working well but iv failed at every attempt at PPC so far (except facebook where i was making ~20% back when it first came out)

I quit my job going on like 5 months ago now. During that time I've probably averaged $100-$150 a day.

I've gone through periods where I was making an easy $250 a day off of PPC, and I've had periods where I set up 20 campaigns and can't get a single one of them to turn a profit to save my life.

There's been a few times where I thought for sure I was finished and would have to go get a "job".

But I've always been able to get through the tough times by flipping sites or writing content on DP. Ebay's also a pretty easy way to make money online.

I'm not rich yet, but I average about the same or sometimes more money then I used to at my job, I'm working for myself, and I enjoy it.

$150/day is extremely realistic, you just have to be willing to work for it.

Agree with most of them. $150/day is not that hard, and it sure is respectable enough for a start.

Found this heck of a resource. Most of you might already have read it or bookmarked it. For the rest, do read him up. He does PPC - CPA offers alot, just like me. Except, on a much larger scale.

<link removed by admin: Either post the article, or don't fuckin post at all!>

In particular read up his section on Affiliate Marketing Guide. There are a very good collection of articles/posts about doing PPC -> CPA, from landing pages, offer selection, keyword research, testing/tracking etc.

PPC is not an easy game though, and don't expect to make a fortune overnight. But once you get it going, you're pretty much set.

So newbies WITH boobs are ok.

Newbies WITHOUT boobs are not.

Anyhow, I'd do ppc if I were starting. You can do SEO and be waiting for your first check 5 years later or you can do ppc and get going slightly faster. Set up 10 email offers and surely one will explode and make you enough to re-invest in another 10 tests, then one more explodes and now you've got 2 money makers. Set up another 10 and get another good money maker and soon enough you'll be at $100 per day.

The downside is ppc is not the easiest beast to tame and sometimes it's more of an art then a science.

I for some reason was a bit weary of facebook no idea why really I just wasn't very into it, but I just launched my first attempt on there. Let's see how it goes *crosses fingers*. Btw- I'm not an idiot who isn't willing to put work into something. I've been around the net making money else wheres with other things just never with IM. I'm always up for learning new things. Any good sex tips ? lol

Much have you learned youngling.

Amy, your own situation will tend to influence the viablility of the ideas posted. Are you looking for $150 a day right now (or real real close to now?) Do you have lots of time? Lots of money? None of either? Kids hanging off each ear lobe most of the time that you are at home? etc.
