Lost

Like watching lost but I'm pretty sure they had to really stretch things out to get a couple more seasons. So now we see some stupid shit (last year especially).

I like the show
But tons of shows nowadays really destroy themselves IMO when they start showing multiple time frames. I mean you got your million flashbacks, time travels, etc. It gets irritating and lame. I'm thinking of Lost and Heros here.

I've watched the first 5 seasons this past month to get ready for this...and while it's good it is definitely overhyped. NOT the best show on television.

I just don't understand what is so genius about writing a massively unpredictable plot. "Oh shit, Locke is dead!" "Oh shit, Locke is alive again!" "Oh shit, it's not even Locke it's a Godlike man that looks like him!" They just keep changing it up so you simple sheeple will be "baffled" each time.

And can someone explain to me how Juliet somehow survived :

a) Falling down that huge shaft.
b) Having the entire drill and wreckage fall on top of her.
to which she survives and then
c) DETONATES A BOMB RIGHT NEXT TO HER FACE.

She wouldn't be there. But somehow she can scream for help, they can hear her, and when they get to her there's just some blood on the side of her head.

Really?

Don't get me wrong I'm a LOST fan, but the zealots just need to get over themselves. To say it's the best show ever or genius writing...is just wrong.

I agree with this actually. I do really enjoy the show, and, ya, it can get rather... convoluted. But, I enjoy (some) of the characters so much I'm willing to suspend even more disbelief. And, well, I've been following it from the beginning, there are very few shows I've watched from season one to the intended end. I am glad to see it end though.

I do agree, it can be silly at times.

my nigga sayid be revive

that isn't sayid.
i'm going to say that it is jacob taking over sayid's body.
the reason why jacob's image told hurley to take sayid's body to the temple.
jacob is using sayid's body as a host.
just like the smoke monster was using jack's father's body through out the series.

should be interesting...

this interview does have spoilers (not specific spoilers but hints of what could happen)

also how the smoke monster is using john locke's body.
haven't figured out which time period of john locke's body the smoke monster is using right now. since locke left the island and was killed and brought back. with the body being dumped on the sand(out of the metal crate).

Maybe the moment the bomb went off the time switch happened. And she does end up dying. But yeah, still pretty unrealistic. But so is the whole show.

I should have said it's the best show on network television for the simple fact that they will do any of the things you mentioned. No other show will even fucking try to do anything else.

The best show on television (network or cable) is Breaking Bad.

I DVR'D the shit because I remembered how many commercials were in it last year. Started watching it about an hour in and just skipped right through all of them.

It is definitely going to get real this season though. I know where my ass will be every Tuesday night :)

Me too, was sweet to just ff those commercials, I'm like a fanboy of Lost now, havent been into a TV show like this since Star Trek (origional)
