So for PPC arbitrage you will always stick with your theory of buying low and selling high? You will generally stay away from Google adwords?

Yes, because that lowers profit margins like crazy. Why settle for 2:1 when you can be doing 6:1-8:1 on avg with cheaper traffic?

Do you use any "formula" to calculate what will be a good niche for PPC arbitrage?
That was sorta answered already with that how to pick a niche question on the first page of this thread I believe.

The only "formula" I can think of... if it's an expensive keyword, then it's worth doing.

Why the hell are you guys slowing down.. Cmon you Guest lurkers, join and ask away!!
I'm too busy doing research on the big domain sites to see how they make money. ;P I don't know if I should advise the person I'm working with to turn www.domains.org into a registrar or make it an informational resource and sell advertising. I'm leaning toward the latter.

Thanks for these lightening rounds. I always learn something great.

Is that a question? Doesn't look like one!

Anyhow, thanks for the compliments. Although I think future lightning rounds will be for members only, instead of all these lurkers. Sorry lurker kids, but either you join and contribute, or you keep wasting money on worthless ebooks and become part of the 95% of webmasters who can't make more than $100 a day.

So write down questions when you do remember, and then put them on the next lightning round, Duh!

Or at least go to the other forums and tell them to get their asses here with their questions and let's fucking go!

Ever made a subscription model site? Any tips for that type? I've got a new service rolling out for forum owners... not really sure where to set pricepoints, etc.

You wrote about internet real estate here: http://www.aojon.com/internet-real-estate/

Do you think it is more important to purchase a site with a proven revenue history or a proven traffic history?

Well, that's a site by site basis type of answer really. You can get traffic anywhere if you think about it, but you can't always make money unless you try to. So I guess go for revenue or even a realistic potential revenue figure if the site isn't making shit.

Can you answer the following outsouring questions:

1. Where do u find people to do your work for you?
2. How do you verify their ability and work experience?
3. Do you have any relationships with cheap and good design/programming companies you want to share?

Do you think the arcade site market is too saturated or do you think there is still a ton of money to be made there?

Jon, what was your biggest six month period of net income?

You ask some of the toughest questions.. I really don't know off hand, and quite frankly, I don't like to share that kind of information either. But the best 2 days of my life as far as revenue is concerned was Sept 14th and Sept 15th of 2001. Made over $2M for the company (not all mine). I guess people got sick of watching CNN and decided to jerk off and join porn sites.

I used to have porn sites that were subscription models.. but I don't think that's the same at all. I'm not a very good person to ask about making money on forums. Ask Andrew here, he's an Admin for a reason. He does well with forums from what I know. And then again, there's always Mr Dodd or Shoemoney (also a mod).
