Abdelhakim Belhadj, commander of the Libyan rebel army is now the military governor of Tripoli. Also former member of the LIFG (terrorist org) which is an affiliate of Al-Qaeda. Good job CIA and NATO, the lulz are strong with this one.

Didn't anyone tell you? al-Qaeda is a creation of the US. Fully trained and armed by the US to kick the shit out of the Russians. That relationship than morphed...

CIA and NATO? Try Obama, he did the same thing in Egypt where the Muslim Brotherhood will eventually take complete control. He's gifting all these nice countries to terrorist proxies, isn't he awesome? And yet in Iran when there's a legitimate "uprising" going on, he says it would be "inappropriate to intrude". What a pathetic phony, I don't know how you guys can't see how ludicrous this man is.

Curious, why point the finger at the puppet ?

A single term pulpit pimp from Chicago that has so much influence he starts global conflicts single-handedly?

Sounds like an easy scapegoat for a situation that's a little more complex than that.

It's called the office of the Presidency. You do get a "little" power with that, including... the power to start bombing as Commander in Chief. In case you forgot, it was Obama who pushed NATO and the Euros to start bombing Libya, it was Obama who ignored Congress when he continued the war there, it was Obama who openly supported the anti-Mubarak forces, it was his people that were in Egypt a year beforehand planning it, it was Obama who let the Iranian freedom-fighters die like dogs in the street. it's called the bully pulpit. It's kind of powerful.

Obama is a mouth attached to a teleprompter. You don't have to like the guy, but your sentiment would be misaligned.

I'm referring to central banking and oil interests, probably the 2 primary motivations behind the wheel. NATO is the vehicle.

I blame Obama for Reagan bombing Libya and labeling the Mujahideen as freedom fighters. It's obvious that 25 year old Obama used his communist brainwashing powers on poor Ronnie.

Libya was well entrenched in the world oil markets, western oil companies were deeply involved in Libya, and Europe was floating on Libyan oil at reasonable prices. Then the uppity natives had enough of the big cheese with the doorman's outfits.

So what would be the motivation for Obama, central bankers, and oil interests to install an Al-Qaeda affiliate there? How will they benefit, and will the USA enjoy the usual windfall that follows the adventures of these politicians, central bankers, and oil interests?

Oh yeah? Well I blame Obama for the whole thing with Archduke Ferdinand!

Chalk WWI up to that pimp too!

Let's not forget that fuckup at the Bay of Pigs and subsequent assassination of JFK. That was really just Obama getting him out of the way so he could come in and take that shit over.

Sorry what? I think you will find that France was the most keen, then the UK, then the US.

I think Andrew is right, that perhaps you are choosing to create a "conspiracy" around Obama just because it makes things easier in your head. Surely you cannot be this ignorant.

Central bankers however had an enormous incentive to bring Qaddafi down because the fiat monetary system was threatened by him in a major way. For everyone that wondered why the US went into Iraq after 9/11 when Iraq was clearly not involved, you must remember that Saddam Husein threatened to move OPEC off of the US dollar. Both regimes were removed due to their threat to the world financial system, and it really doesn't matter which "nation" was more behind the rebels because the money all comes form the same place doesn't it?

Iirc gaddafi was going to start trading oil for gold.
