Lets lose some weight together :)

Eli, your routine looks like you've got all the bases covered. I'm going to be following a similar routine after the first of the year. I'm 5 11 and 165--bout 14 percent bf right now. I want to get to half of that. I'll post my routine when I get it all set up : )

I think holidays are the best time to start this! Here's what I've been doing:

Portion control. I eat the types of food I want (although I really do try to stay healthy, with fiber, veggies, fruits, lean protein, almonds...etc) but I just cut the portions in thirds. This way I don't have to count calories. So whatever portion you were about to put on your plate, reassess and put 1/3 of that. Another helpful tip is to use your bread plates instead of your meal plates. Do this with EVERYTHING. If you were about it eat a candy bar, eat 1/3 of it instead and put the rest back in your pantry or your book bag or whatever.

(My exercise routine is more to facilitate the healing of my back issues so I'm not going to really include it here as a way to lose weight but, it probably helps as well.)

Anyways, I've found the portion thing always works the best for me because I never feel like I'm cheating myself or dieting. I've kinda made it into a game...how little can I put on my plate and be satisfied? You'd be surprised.

You have to eat a lot of clean calories.

you might just want to lift with p90x and lay off the cardio sections of the workout.

Yeah I def think im going to skip the cardio part

I eat really healthy already shouldn't be a prob, just need to up my calories

Day 2 Update:

Stuck with my first day weigh in routine. Basically shit piss drink a quart of water and weigh.

Starting: 189.8
Day 2: 187.4
----------
2.4 lbs lost

So far so good but I missed my ab workout yesterday due to a stomach ache after the gym. Also, I did cheat yesterday and had a piece of pumpkin pie. Overall I feel great, don't really have time to get hungry with how often i'm eating. No loss of energy and if anything my heart is feeling awesome from the running and not having to eat pure junk food all day.
ps. I'm counting the days as they complete so day 2 is the morning of day 3 incase that confused anyone.

Yea I did day 1 of P90x yesterday and played basketball for an hour, I threw some dead lifts into the rotation I feel like I can't move.

Optimum Nutrition's Whey - Vanilla Ice Cream

That's been the best tasting protein with water that I've tried.

Yeah, great shake, I'm on Rocky Road at the moment for a change, pretty nice as well, and decent cheap protein, I always have it with milk though.
