Let me back up...
When we set out to create a superior manual link building service in early 2010, our main goal was to use humans instead of machines for the inherent natural link flow that is created when people work on your project over weeks instead of hours or minutes.
Google loves steady link building, and you just can't replicate that with SenukeX on a VPS.
A little expected side effect of building a large team of overseas workers was as we got to know our labor force on a personal level.
As we got to know them, we became friends with them. And as we became friends with them, we realized the massive difference between their quality of life and ours.
Even though we're capitalist pigs (especially Grind!) and not bleeding heart liberals, we wanted to help them live a better life.
So we raised prices while keeping our profit margins low, switched from weekly wages to a pay per performance model, so those with drive and motivation would have (to a scale) the same opportunities we have as western affiliate marketers, the opportunity to get paid for our hustle, our effort, instead of being a wage slave.
And you know what? It worked. For the most part. We culled a couple that didn't want to actually work, that were just there for the weekly nut.
The rest?
Life has never been better? They make more money, they're happier, they can buy things for their family they never could working for $100/week.
We helped make a difference. We. You, our loyal customers. Us, the Layered Links Team.
Now we want to scale it.
But we can't hire everybody...
So we're going to help a lot of people on a small scale, instead of a few people a large scale.
And you're going to help us...
For the rest of 2011, 5% of your payment will be donated to the Isang Litrong Liwang (A Liter of Light) Foundation which aims to put a million eco-friendly solar light bulbs in underprivileged homes across the Philippines during 2012. Please see for more information on this very worthy charitable organization.
It's not curing cancer. It's not free dental surgery. It's not even a toothbrush.
But for those people living without light, it's a pretty big deal.
Don't believe us? When it gets dark tonight, shut off all your lights. And then...
Yeah, let us know how that goes.
All jesting aside, thank you for helping make Layered Links the leading manual link building service on the internet. Most of you have experienced stellar results and we're proud of that. And we're proud of being able to use your SEO budgets to help make the world a better place.
