I am a total noob that is learning the design of LPs through Dreamweaver. The code is tough but the problem I am struggling with is the back end of how to set the LPs up with the host. Basically, what is the best method to get my finished LPs online?

All the LP info I find is the marketing portion (how to make a great LP!) or tries to sell me shit I want to learn on my own (buy this template or buy this and we will host!).

I really just want to know how or where to go to make sure I do the back end setup correctly. I have a server/host account for my tracking setup. But what do I do if I want to a) host a website and b) run 10 or so landing pages for my affiliate stuff?

Any help? I promise I aint a threat to your empire. I am just trying to learn a new skill set so my wife stops accusing me of watching porn all day.

Do you have hosting (shared hosting, VPS, dedicated, etc.)?

If you're just trying to run through the motions. Get some shared hosting (hostgator, inmotion). use cpanel and it's pretty straightforward.

Buy some hosting and a domain from a site like resellerzoom, networksolutions, hostgator, ect. ..... and they'll get you setup with FTP information and you can upload your LP's through any FTP program.

ex.
oljackburton.com/LP1.html
oljackburton.com/LP2.html
and so on

I have Beyond Hosting setup for my Prosper tracking. Would I just need to create a separate domain to run my LPs from?

You could do that yeah. You can either use the same VPS or you can grab another one. When you're first starting out you should be fine with just one VPS. Add on another domain in WHM and upload your LPs there.

If you care about uptime and not worrying about hosting issues, build it on a platform like Landing Pages: Create, Publish & A/B Test Without I.T. | Unbounce

They have different plans based on pageviews and basically give you a WYSIWYG editor that hooks into mailchimp/aweber and other services (you can even POST requests with the data) to host your entire LP and variants. You can send all your traffic to one custom domain and then split test and keep the champion variant on top. it also monitors your conversions (even external tracking pixels can be placed)

Or you could use something like
Optimize Press | Pro Internet Marketing Tools

which really is just a wp theme and you have to still worry about hosting. If your wordpress site gets a lot of traffic, i would recommend jason cohen's WordPress Hosting and Managed WordPress Hosting from WP Engine

just my 2 cents...
