just did this for a client who refused to continue finishing the project (he liked the this page very much when i showed the upper portion as a draft) and said that i just spent 3 minutes to have this done and after receiving his $20 i run away. i refunded his $20 dollar coz i have no intention of running away with any money. i guess this is the reason why he doesn't what to pay in full for the project. lesson learned.

Big Talk. Little action.

Communication was fast, professional and immediate - UNTIL THE PAYMENT....

Paid up front and IMMEDIATELY the communication got difficult. Went to shit may be the description closer to the truth. Disappeared completely off of the radar for three days and then popped up with the "I was waiting on you" thing.

I was satisfied with the one "work in progress" i'd viewed up to that point - revisions have been slow. Communication has gone from straight crap to diarrhea.

Haven't heard from her in two days - although she was in a rush for revisions the last time I heard from her. I thought that she/he/whatever was ready to finish up and so I replaced myself in a meeting to get the stuff to her....

Haven't heard a peep since. This may be the same day she vanished for days last week.

Since she obviously doesn't want to do the job - why doesn't she just give me my money back. There are plenty of people who would take this project seriously.

Stop wasting both of our time by playing these games. Refund the money and you can disappear for the rest of your life and I wouldn't give a damn.
 
update:

- i would just like to inform everyone that i am usually off during weekends for my offline work, i might go online just to check or do little work online but most of the time i'm offline

- refunded that already, don't want to talk much about it. :) i might not get anymore orders but it's okay. i don't take clients money and run away.

- all pms replied and some clients updated

KickAssGirl Does A KickAssJob

The KickAssGirl had some personal issues that she had to deal with last week and sent evidence of that - which she really didn't have to do -

but she did.

She refunded the money without question - which in reality, she really didn't have to do -

but she did.

She finished not one, but two of the designs that we'd been working on up to the point she had to take care of her family business. She not only finished them, but then offered both sets of psd's free of charge - which she didn't have to do -

but she did.

She does great work. Everybody has family issues. Everybody has some bumps in the road. It's how you deal with them that demonstrates the type of person you "REALLY" are.

I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I was so happy with how she handled her business and the quality of her work that I've already hired her for another job. After that post I had to do a bit of pleading, because she really didn't have to take me back and do any more business -

but she did. :D

Highly recommended.

Will use her again. :D

As a side note - two of her emails went into my spam folder for some reason and a couple of skype messages that she sent just "popped" up on my phone - so she "did" try to send something in her absence. I've also got to respect her level of professionalism for not just outright blasting me on the thread. A true professional.

What a speech! You didn't have to say those things, but since you did i can't thank you enough :)
