IMO i actually like reading his blog, maybe hes not banking .. so what? the point is that he's had success and most likely still having it. he has a lot of FB posts and it helps me out. I probably relate more w/ his blog than anyone elses. and about his consulting program, i've never used it, but its a good idea, and if i had experience i would do the same.
There are 2 types of blogs you can have as an AM: 1.) A blog to make money or 2.) One that doesn't. The first category includes people like Shoemoney, John Chow, and Dupre. Category 2 would be ppc.bz and nickycakes. The methods used in the first category more often than not appeal to noobs (90% of the AM industry) so Wickedfire loves to hate (they consider themselves too smart to fall for the tactics blogs use). Wickedfire likes the second category for keeping it real (and look at the reception Nicky got when he tried to monetize). But in the end, the blogs that are out there to make money are making money while blogs like PPC.bz don't really make money. If you don't like Justin Dupre, don't read his blog because you're probably not the target audience.
