Just quit a six figure job at an inc. 500 company to pursure internet marketing.

Then you could always steal someone else's idea and claim it was your own to start with. Settle for a $65 million lawsuit once your done and then sell the user's info to the CIA. Shit, been watching far too many movies lately.

were you selling speakers out of a van?

Not too far off.

But for real, it was a great tech company ran by a well known entrepreneur I look up to greatly.

Unfortunately we didn't part on great terms. He was not happy with the fact that I spent the last two months "figuring things out" on his dime.

How do you stop procrastinating , I have a factory job , wife , 2 kids , I work 9 hours a day every other Saturday and think about getting a site done and writing some code , but I don't do it FUCK!!!!! This is the only thing I have is this to show for it a shitty site I did in 2008 I have read a lot of books but have done nothing Find the top brands with the top quality in table lamps

Man outsource that shit. Do what you can and pay others to do the rest.
4 years later your site still looks like shit. The only way to stop procrastinating is to just man up and do it, if you're not motivated to change your own life then it will never happen... and enjoy your factory job.

you'll be fine as long as you're consistent. that's the bottom line.. be fucking consistent until you're making good money. no fucking around. work out hard every day, and work hard every day, a solid 6-8 hours. some dickheads around here will tell you to work 12-15 hour days, no, 6 hours of fucking good, solid / quality work is all you need; otherwise you'll get burnt out in the beginning.

the working out bit is to relieve the stress and anxiety you'll naturally receive by being self employed. that's why so many here get fucking panic attacks.. they don't get the stress out any other way.. exercise'll do that for ya.

just my 2c.

Boom. Congrats! (unless you have zero profit)

You'll soon be saying "shoulda done it sooner".

Now get off WF and start hustlin, get your corporate/tax situation in shape, diversify, and prepare for some fun times, plateaus included. Embrace them and never stop learning.

A year from now you will be infinitely smarter than you are now. A year after that, you'll laugh again because you'll be infinity * infinity times smarter. Seriously.

Charge that shit! Now's your chance

Encouragement like this is much more inspiring than anything you could find in a self-help book, probably owing to the sense of actual experience behind it. We can all use the right kind of push. It helps me, that's for sure.
