Just to preface this....all the stuff below is from my understanding of what i've read...if it turns out to be wrong as hell....i swear i wasn't trying to lie...so i appreciate any advice:love-smiley-013:
Ok, so I've been reading shit online off and on for bout a year or so and a couple months ago i 'dabbled' w/ a wordpress.com acc, CB acc, and various other sites that I became an affiliate for (aka just creating an aff link to put up)
But it was a niche that I myself did not pick, it was one that I followed from a blog by some guy named Tissa who was promoting some sorta 'acme people search' thing...but i lost interest and I realize now that it was because of my lack of initiative to pick my own area of interest.
So I randomly yesterday I thought of the subject matter that i've made my niche and how it's affected MY llife. I then realized that it is VERY misunderstood not much information can be found via google for the average web browser. I've done my research on it and found a lot of info that I feel as though I could put up through a blog (wp.com for now unless you guys have better places in mind :evil_laughter
and then showing them how i dealt with the problem by promoting the product (by promoting, i don't mean try to sell it, but i mean i give them actually friending them and genuinely helping them. I'd have a link setup or store section for the product with ratings and reviews. I'm not exactly sure if you can do the store method w/ only a WP.com account....i'm thinkin you need the wp.org.
If that's the case i'll start writing the articles now and put them on my wp page as well as ezinearticles.com and work on linking my blog on other blogs and linking those blogs on mine (i forget what that term is called.... sorry)
Now my question is, besides wondering if my plan is ok right now, how do i bid on keywords for search engines or whatever.....how i can see the amount of searches for particular keywords/keyphrases that i'd like to associate with. And if someone finds my page, i gotta use google analytics to find out how they got to me, right?
I am very excited about how well i can do. I know it could take a year before i start seeing the profits I'd like, but I'm very determined and will work as hard as i need to, to get that check mailed to me asap :1bluewinky:.
Oh and another thing.....more of a question for a mod...but i was wondering if i could get my username switched to mr godlike.....
