O'rly? So genius, show me where you read that? If you don't know, we have the most goddesses than any other religion out there -- and during the same period women had a LOT of rights. So care to give me references and proof that "I" was killing female newborns long before my great-great-great-grandfather was even born.

Clearly either you are a retard or didn't care to read what I wrote above -- I am discussing about the time when Kamasutra was written. Yes, female girls are still killed in parts of country -- but that is reduced to bare minimum now as compared to what it used to be a hundred or more before.
So "genius", care to back up your statement "you were killing female newborns until the Muslims and British got there..." If anything, honor crimes and other atrocities on women got worse with the arrival of Muslims and Brits. Prove me wrong if you can.
PS: Selective abortion is VERY DIFFICULT, if not impossible, now due to laws having extremely strict punishment for clinics (and their owners) doing pre-natal testing.
