Reminds me of this

Funny how this guy is obviously supposed to be mocking the younger guy who interviews people at tea bagger rallies but is actually just setting misleading traps for people to walk right into, as opposed to the younger dude who interviews tea baggers and they deliberately voice their well thought out misinformed ideas about the world/politics--in other words, he doesn't have to set traps at all. Cool vid though.

How is this a deliberate trap? People don't know the difference between "Keynes" and "Kenya"? The first woman pronounced it as "Keneesian" - what country does that represent?

It's deliberate because of the context of the question and the fact that absolutely everyone knows the controversy over whether or not Obama is actually Kenyan--not to mention that Keynes economics is not widely known by any measure.

The vast majority of people are predisposed to assuming any question posed the way his was would be about his nationality, not about some form of economics--making it a trap. This is a huge leap away from some young kid at a tea bagger rally asking people what they think about foreign policy and taxes and freely allowing them to answer and stuff their own foot in their mouth.

Take a step back and look at that video. You've got an old guy (because no young people support the tea baggers) asking deliberately misleading questions in a passive aggressive way on film then produced in some shitty Windows Movie Maker program, it's honestly more embarrassing for the guy than anyone answering the questions.

lol was just about to post it... fucking retards, let the moral equivalencies by the libtards begin!

oh yeah, and to the lib bitching, this is why your panties are in a bundle: you hate to see that your political peers are idiots while conservatives actually know what Keynesian economics is! Stop the denial!

So it's a trap because these people are too stupid to know anything about economics?

Only people who have studied Keynesian economics know what it is. Most other people either don't know (i.e. these guys), or don't give a shit (i.e. me).

hes from Kenya?

It is widely known, by a great measure. I have never taken an economics course. But I know enough about Keynesian and Austrian economics to know which one is the wiser course. This video proves not what a person knows, but how they vote. They don't look at the issues. They don't research. They vote with their emotions, they get pulled in to bullshit slogans and cult like chanting. They elect people with the power to ruin their lives based solely on...exactly. Absolutely jack shit. One of the most dangerous people in the country is an uninformed voter. You hear a promise from a man that can speak well and take it at face value without looking at the gravity and consequences of a situation or what those promises will do to our nation if kept.

The road to tyranny is paved with people like you.

Edit: Just a little pre-emptive strike for you Bush lovers, I hate him too. Pun intended.

Most people don't know anything about economics. 5 billion rep points or 4,000 posts on an interweb marketing forum does not equal a knowledge of economics, lol....

The difference is simple. One can be proven by the SCIENTIFIC METHOD...the other can't.
