for a green one, is it easy to learn programming in building websites. what kind of programming language is more suitable?:arcadefreak:

You have to be able to focus on learning it and not get sidetracked. I learned how to program on my own and it's hard to do, but with training videos out on the web, it's much easier now. I was lucky enough to be able to ask my co-worker.

Ask yourself as couple of questions before you dive head first into this to possibly save yourself from suicide.

Do you have two functioning brain cells? If yes, you have a chance.

Do you suck at math? If yes, you have less of a chance.

Can you read and comprehend high school level books? If yes, your chances increase.

Does your mind work in a logical way or some artsy fartsy wrong side of the brain way? If the latter, your chances decrease and you might want to switch to designing logos.

If you want to give it a shot, go down to the local book store and pick up an O'Reilly basic PHP book and start reading and trying some stuff out. Forget the online learning stuff for now, you'll get distracted and waste time. You'll find out soon enough if this is something you want to learn or pay someone else to do.

If you don't want to do it, it'll be a pain in the ass.

If you think it might be cool, you'll probably have the basics down in an afternoon of googling
