Is a dot Com website still the way to go?

I still think that it's best to go with a .com. Most people know that. Any time you see something on television that is referring you to a website, most of the time it will be a .com. Really, if you have good content, or good service or product, it might not matter, but I'm no expert.
 


I think the domain is your enterprise address, to encourage your enterprise and your brand. its significant to conceive the right effect of professionalism for your enterprise, thats why I pefer the commerical domain extension.
 
I've tried .info before.. and it's hard to be ranked on page one compared to the .com i bought later on.. so yeah i think .com is still the king
