Is 3 day reponse time from ad rep typical?

I've been anxious to get my first non-SEO campaign up and running, but the process so far has been brutally slow. I've been working with a rep at an ad network for about 3 weeks, who takes 2-3 days to respond or work for me.

It took a week for her to approve my LP, which I can understand, but things really haven't improved from there. "I'll send you over a list of placements tomorrow." Tomorrow being 3 days... I send my placements and bids back, call here and "I'll probably get to it tomorrow," meaning another 3 days, and so on... :crying:

Now I'm trying to get her suggestions on more placements and bids so I can spend more money, but no luck reaching her.

My assumption is that she may have bigger fish and is prioritizing. Is this just how it works, or should I be asking for another rep to work with?

Depends really.

Some are going to hunt you down. Some don't care, and more often, some are SUPER busy.

To be fair, if you are new, and they are busy, you'll get some attention, but it'll be when they have some extra time. Your daily adspend is $10, and the other guy's is $10,000 You can bet the other guy is going to get a little better service. Not purely because they make the company more, but they are already doing it. It's not hand holding.

Every situation is different, and without knowing yours, it's hard to say. You should get the attention you need, as soon as your AM can give it. Unfortunately that might not be as soon as you would like.
