I love my iPhone, can pretty much login to any interface to perform quick stats updates or action any campaign that's gone sideways.

The rumored updates for this summer's release supposedly add:
Video Recording
Copy/Paste
Faster Cellular Network access (rumors are like double, but obviously not 4G since AT&T hasn't completed their upgrade yet) from 3.6 to 7.2Mbps

The first two updates are available if you jailbreak your phone but the speedbump would be pretty awesome.

iPhone has video recording as long as you're willing to jailbreak it, which is no big deal with quickpwn.

iPhone Video Recorder - DreamCatcher Official Site is the site. Download the trial, and then if you search enough like I did, you can find a crack to make it full version so you don't have to pay the $20. ;)

The video it records is great. ...though yeah, it'd be a lot better if it were included officially in an update of course.

Blackberry right now. I'm with tmobile.

Question for you iphoners..
How many email accounts can you setup on your iphone?

I have 6 now on the BB that get updated every few mins.

I believe it is practically unlimited until you run out of space. I have 8 on mine. and mine refresh every few mins as well.

i use an HTC with windows mobile. What internet speed do u guyz get on your iphones and blackberries?

Touch Pro sucks without a custom rom.

I have a Touch Pro and a Curve. I'll be switching to an iphone this summer. Supposedly the Palm Pre requires a simply everything plan.

I actually LOL'ed at that. But I think Obama may disagree.

From what I understand he may not have a blackberry at all. Something about him having the same PDA that the NSA uses... they never said if it was a Blackberry I assume that would be a huge information leak.

Since my gf is tied to AT&T due to her precious iPhone I've been able to witness the fairly significant shortcomings of AT&T's customer service when compared against T-Mobile's. While no mobile provider is anywhere close to providing exceptional customer service, T-Mobile has rarely, if ever, displayed the often alarming level of ineptitude that seems to be AT&T's representatives' modus operandi.

I haven't talk to customer support for about a year and a half, and they weren't bad. I suppose your millage can vary.

I have a BB Storm, and quite frankly, it's an annoying peice of shit. I always get a slow internet connection, the battery life sucks, and worst of all, it LAGS. I mean you push a button and it does what it's supposed to after 2 seconds. I've used a bold and it's much more responsive, I'll have to look into getting a new BB.

That's what I was afraid of at first, who buys a first generation anything? Just asking or trouble if you ask me.

Heard from a buddy that the old pearl had a lot of problems. The new pearl (flip phone) should be released this year if not already.

Not sure what problems he could have, I been pimping the initial pearl 8100 (the very first pearl version) for about a year and a half, never had a problem. I update the firmware every few months too, which I'm sure most people don't do. Solid phone though if you throw Opera Mini on it, as the default browser sucks.

Blackberry but STAY AWAY from the storm, its garbage. Laggy, hard to type, poor battery. Im ditching mine for a curve

I take it your on a contract with vodaphone. Any idea on how to get them to change the handset for you, or do I have to resort to saying "its stolen" so I can get a new one through the insurance policy?

Before you go through the hassle of switching carriers, you may want to give the G1 a try in spite of the lack of 3G (are there currently plans - or possibly even a date - that they will be rolling out 3G in your area?).

The G1 is Wi-Fi compatible (though no UMA, which is retarded since it's one of T-Mo's coolest features) so unless you're planning on sending/receiving lots of data when you're out and about, it likely won't be an issue for you.

But that's coming from a guy that refuses to configure work-related email through his phone since I'm already at the computer ~16 hours a day anyway. And (as crass as it may be to repeat it) I really only play with most of the apps I've installed while on the shitter.

That's reason enough for me to stick with T-Mo for as long as they keep their shit together. Before I went with T-Mo way back in '02 I was with Sprint and the level of idiocy that their CSRs displayed was so abysmal it seemed downright criminal.

Yeah, T-Mobile's service has been the best of any carrier I've had. Never have dealt with AT&T (or Cingular either). But I'll gladly stick with a carrier with quality service.

Like someone said, earlier, I can get an iPod Touch and have pretty much the same thing minus the phone/data plan. Plus, I really want to see what the G1 can do.

I assume owning an iPod Touch is nothing like owing an iPhone. For one, you cannot do anything without a WiFi connection so once you step out of the house it's useless unless you ripoff someone's connection which is a PITA.

Secondly, I refuse to carry two devices (phone and iPod touch) around with me as the real estate in my pocket is limited once you carry something called a wallet.

The iPod Touch is a great device, don't get me wrong but owning just one device to do everything is the shit.

Oh, and when you jailbreak your iPhone/iPod Touch there is a 5 row QWERTY keyboard which is awesome, much better than the standard. Winterboard is cool for skinning your interface but I found it lags as it takes up alot of RAM.

It's just a matter of time before Android phones eat your iPhones and Blackberries for breakfast.

Could be but I don't see any point on getting one before it does. For now I'll enjoy my 1.5 day battery run time of the curve. Worked out great at ASW when my curve kept going, and going, and going... Touchscreens take too much juice

IF/ When that happens i will def consider switching to a G2 or 3 or whatever they will call it.

BBerriez can suck my and your ass!
