The only reason to jump to 5 from 4S is LTE. If you don't plan to get that then the upgrade is pretty pointless. I'm waiting for the next Gen before even thinking about switching phones.

I picked up a HTC 8X around Christmas and have been really happy with Windows Phone 8.

I have the same phone, it's pretty excellent.

The only flaw I can find is that the screen is an LCD rather than AMOLED, and can't display perfect blacks.

Would never consider switching to Android or going back to iOS.

Can you tell what is better for web developer if you want to do some stuff on the go, like coding and accessing FTP or cPanel, is there apps for that on windows phones, and which OS is preferably better for this reason?

I think windows phone is the best core OS of any of the mobile options available, it's beautiful. The app selection is where they're getting destroyed.

Wasn't available for an upgrade.. still had an iPhone4, called AT&T, bitched... got an upgrade, paid $200 for iPhone5 and my iPhone4 just sold for $235 on eBay.

If the 5s is that much better I'll do the same and probably make a decent profit on the 5.

I've a a hook up can make any ATT iPhone factory unlocked for $30-60 depending on model. I know this inst the BST but seems relevant, and those prices are my cost.

Ive done it to both of my phones and its a very painless process/no hacking involved. Would be happy to make this happen for you guys if needed.
