Hello, My name is Mike and I am new to the industry. Luckily I know a member here so I have been schooled in what links to not click on, i.e. "makemoniesonline."

About me:

I am 61, possibly the oldest member here. I was a military pilot as well as a commercial pilot for 25 years. I have since retired from the military and only fly for recreation. I was also in the mortgage industry for over 10 years and retired at the right time. I've been getting restless golfing and vacationing and wanted to do something productive and profitable with my time. I am still in the research and testing stages of the business but hope to contribute to the community as I learn more.

I'm Mac from eastern North Carolina. I am new to affiliate marketing, but I have been dabbling with PPC advertising since November. I started as an Amazon affiliate, but the margins are so low, I have barely broken even despite a good niche with excellent click-thru (10%) and conversion(25%) or at least I thought. After seeing the amazing percentages I have read about here, I have alot to learn from everyone. This is a great forum and I'm very thankful I found such a great group of people.

I'm 26 and my full-time job is an insurance agent in the Bay Area, CA. I look forward to bouncing off ideas with everyone and absorbing all the knowledge I can from this forum. I think this is the start of a beautiful challenging hobby in addition to golf.
 
Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty new to affiliate marketing - been doing it for a few weeks, and so far I've spent roughly $400 on PPC and earned roughly $100 in gross revenue. A net loss, obviously, but I'm going to make it big I tell you - just wait.

Very glad I found this forum - I've just spend a couple hours reading on here and learned tons.

Hey everybody. My name is Chris, I'm 22, and I'm a musician. I went into engineering for a few years but made the switch to music because it's my real passion. I'd like to one day be a bass player in a professional symphony and teach students. Being that I'm a musician I've had to work stupid jobs to make money, such as a warehouse. I've come to realize that I have the determination to do better than the 40 hour week making peanuts for mind-numbing repetitive labor. I'm going to put my creative skills into making good websites.
