Introduction

Hello, I'm Chris, a bloke whos spent the last 6 years coding php for thankless fools. :2gunsfiring_v1:
I'm at the point where I either crack internet marketing, or crack my fucking head against a brick wall, one or the other. I'm working on a niche blog for my first project, and I'm ranking #2 for my phrase. Today alone I earned zero adsense and made another big fat zero from my affiliate links, and furthermore, 'I got fiiiiive kids to feed'... (2 actually)

I am however, learning slowly, things like link building, keyword research, content creation etc. All pretty much above board but I'm going to keep slogging away at my niche in an attempt to catch some more related phrases and further increase my traffic,
(which is currently pouring in at 20-25 unique visitors a day.)
I'm a million miles from making a living as I have yet to make a sale, but as I read on Nickycakes blog, my plan is to stop reading bulshit blogs and just do something.

I'm pretty ok at php, and the frontend shit too with jquery, css and the like, so hopefully I can give a bit back in exchange for answers to my retarded questions.

My first question is this:
If you had a hammer, would you hammer in the morning?:338:

Mark here from The Netherlands. I've been in affiliate marketing for a half year now. Learned a lot in that time and am getting close to quit my job. Hope to learn some more good shit around here.

Hey guys. I've been using the web for a looong time and I always thought ads were stupid and annoying and useless. But after finding this forum a couple days ago and reading a bunch of shit here (and getting dickrolled over and over) my perspective on internet marketing has changed a lot, I guess it's not so bad, at least now I know why most of ads are how they are. But the best part though is I think I can make some money out of this.

I am Manuel, 29 years and currently diving into PPC at PPC-Coach.com. Reading almost to much about it and affiliate marketing in general to get confused  I am working for my own webdesign company which is located in Switzerland (you don't have to know that fucking small rainy country)...

I want to be a fulltime marketer in the second part of next year so I have plenty work to do. If I don't work (what rarely happends) I am browsing a lot of forums, this one included.

I'm am addicted to help so please don't make that to your advantage :nopenope: I am pretty familiar with photoshop, xhtml and css so if you need something drop me a note.

And now, back to fucking work.

I'm B. I'm 21 and from California. I live with my parents, work in a shoe store, and go to junior college. I like trains and hockey.

I don't know how I ended up here.

I forgot to do my intro post when I first joined, so ill do it now.
Hey, my name is Buddy and I am 20 years old. I also go to college. I first started getting into affiliate marketing back in january 2007. I joined a stupid site called sourcekey... I suggest you don't join it. I had a few campaigns running, but I always seem to break even or just barely break even. I can never get to that next step.

My name is Spencer, 18 Years old. I just started doing AM a couple of days ago, been trying many other ways to make money online for the last month. I still have plenty to learn but I am getting there and this forum has been very helpful. I am actually working for an online business right now buying and selling Pokerstars play money as my actual job, although I would rather start working for myself.

What I do for fun is mostly play video games lol, although I dont have much time to do it much anymore, Not while trying to figure out the best way for AM.

Hello, My name is Maitiú, 21 from Ireland.

I currently earn my dough with organic traffic though looking at PPC to see if its worth my time :P

Howdy,
I'm Charlie, originally from Austin, TX but now living in Dublin.

I'm not really new to affiliate marketing, but I have been out of the game so long I might as well be.

HI everyone, this is my first time posting in this forum. My name is Helen and I am from Australia. It's actually quite late here so I am going to keep it short for now and go to bed. I have only one week of affiliate marketing knowledge, but in that one week I must say that I have come across so much information (some useful, some not so useful) that it is difficult to decipher what works and what does not work. HOw does one decide between what is genuine and what is hype?
