Hello from South Texas. Believe it or not there is life here. The fact that as I'm posting for the first time here it's 103 degree. :angryfire:

The reason I'm here is to learn more about Affiliate Marketing. Have been in the IM marketing for about three years and still working on hitting it big online.:1zhelp: Believe that I can get some gems here and hope to contribute as well.

A yo people, Asa here. I'm from the crime-riddled, bankrupt streets of Detroit. We luv us some tourists! I am a salesman to my core. I just recently joined WF. My main goal right now is to create, develop and grow my websites. I love to write but not really interested in blogging, just sales. I joined WF exactly two months ago. At first like many of you, I read and read and read. Processing all of the info that my brain was taking in and trying to figure out how to incorporate it with what I already know.

I read the get started section then I just started to brainstorm. I picked a niche that I am interested in selling products from. Then I bought my 1st two domain names. They are both in the same niche and both domain names relate to their respective niches. I picked my 1st niche and domain names now what? Gotta have a website right? Unless you pay someone to build it for you or you build it yourself. What if you have never built a website before? What do you do? Which direction do you go?

I went back and forth with this for a good minute. Then, I found out about Shopify. To me as a complete newbie, it is the best thing since sliced bread! Ok now I've got a house, what do I do next? What are you selling? Where are you getting it from? This is where I get to use my people skills. I created a perspective list of suppliers for my future products. What did I do next? I called them and told them that I want to sell their stuff dammit! Now, I am waiting to hear back from them. Its gonna be a Big Week for us! I hope that my journey so far has been informative to some of you guys.
 
Finally I'm able to post, I've been coming here for the last 3 days but I was never able to post.

The forum looks cool and should be a great help

My background is, I had a number of affiliate sites a few years ago but they all fell away, but I'm back now as big as ever. I have a degree in Marketing and a degree in Computer Science and I like to think I'm a capable coder in a couple of languages.

Hopefully I will be able to use these skills to generate a revenue stream from my sites.

Yeah, here's my first post on 3+ year old account.. Anyway, I come here from BHW, now a shitty community full of half-wits with 3000+ rep and $0 bank accounts, plus there's ton of ppd kiddies arguing over $5 refunds..

I've been into affiliate marketing for 3 years, did everything from content locking to media buying with intl dating offers, which I do right now...
