Name is Isaac, often go by sixer because I'm 6'6. 30 years old and have been around the net since a football(American) injury in 94. Kind of still miss the text based MUDs, mmorpg's even with all the pretty graphics just aren't as personal as they used to be.
Somewhat new to Internet Marketing, have dabbled in it here and there over the last ten years. Really wish I would have thought about getting into it back then as who knows where that would have led. Spent the last 12 years mainly doing construction, but too big for my body to last long doing that crap. So it's time to switch gears and use a different personal resource then what I have been using.

I have become interested in affiliate marketing for over a year now but have not really done anything other than sit back and watch/ I would like to say I have a learned a lot but just like math you can't just know the theory you need to do application. And that's what I am here to do

I am semi-active on a couple of other forums and have been told that this is a good place for learning and sharing knowledge on Internet Marketing, as well as many other topics...
I am the owner of learn to earn online a company teaching Internet Marketing basics and a few other sites. I like to discuss and investigate all the lates IM techniques from domain selection to trafffic generation and monetisation. I trade Forex professionally so this is more of a hobby than anything else.

Hey, I'm Tanner, 21, 6 months ago, words like affilate marketing, do follow, page rank and matt cutts were all foreign to me. Now, after lurking around, I'm read to stop lurking and start doing. Glad I found this place.

Hey fellow newbs and gurus. I like the 'no bullshit' vibe this forum has, as opposed to others I have joined. I am new to IM, however, I am an experienced coder. I'm still trying to get my kicks on Route 66. Man my kids watch Cars too much. I've been reading, reading, reading, and the creative side of my brain is on cruise control.
As far as coding, I have experience mainly in Ruby/Rails, Python, Sinatra, Haml, Sass/Compass, JavaScript, CoffeeScript, MySQL, and MongoDB. I don't see much reason to use PHP (have in the past and it's shit, yet it seems the norm with all the little applications people are floating around). And there is nothing better than being able to have you own custom app running for free in a matter of minutes.
