.info is never worth it.

For the main keyword I'm trying to rank right now, the #1 position is taken by someone with a .INFO domain. 400k+ monthly exact searches keyword.

I have seen a KW domain in .info which is at 1st spot for that KW outbidding TLDs(.com, .net, .org)

Agree the fact that its a little bit difficult to rank among the TLDs, but never impossible.

If someone have low budget and ready to work hard. I would suggest .info will be a good option.

:)

They can rank highly (search 'black friday') but I have had trouble with them, I just spring the $7 now and get a real TLD.

In case anyone stumbles across my posting on the subject, I have also had some trouble ranking .info's compared to other tld's

There are many factors for the authority of a domain. Info was not always cheaper though. Domain age, authority and of course the duration of the domain registration play a role.
