Anyone used to play the original?

Was about to play some late night counterstrike and I saw this available in the store section... insta bought it - downloading now (8%)... anyone else have it? stupid decision or good game?

Graphics seem slightly better than the original

I was a big fan of Street Fighter back in my 9th grade schooling days.

I've been playing it on the xbox for a while now and I have it for the PC as well, both being basically the same. I am a hardcore Street Fighter player, having played many at a semi-competitive level and feel like SF4 is probably the easiest for someone to get into or for players who haven't played in a while to get back into it. It doesn't offer too much in terms of new content so don't get your hopes up.

I advise you to either get a gamepad or joystick that will work with your PC if you don't already have one. You can play with the keyboard, but unless you've tried it before I believe this will only hurt your experience/view of the game. Have fun.

1.6 , yea I have a feeling I'll play this for a week or two... been playing today with my logitech rumblepad - looks nice - tried online play got my ass kicked. SF4 brings back memories though

I bought street fighter 4 on steam too. It's cool but I don't know any of the codes for the super ultra moves yet. I didn't play the earlier versions.

Just got it for the PC a few days ago. I used to be big into SF back in college. Game is good so far.

Bought the TE FightStick - if you got the cash, I highly recommend it:

I almost bought that but spent $4.99 on Shadowgrounds instead from Steam. Great top-down run around shooting shit game. Well worth 5 bucks.
