improve eyesight naturally

Hmmmm......another interesting thread.

I'm 48 now and did not get any glasses or contact lenses until I was 41.

When I first got glasses it was mainly to read and they gave a me a script that made the computer a little clearer as well. My distance vision has always been fine.

Before I got the scripts I was just wearing Readers that I got at the drugstore.

I had told my Doc that I noticed if I did NOT wear my reading glasses AT ALL for 3 days straight I could see JUST FINE with the exception of VERY FINE print. Then I would have to squint, but for regular sized fonts I could just hold it a little farther away than was comfortable.

He just GRINNED and never did give me ANY explanation for this. He had on the other hand answered ALL of my other questions if GREAT detail. Hmmm....what was I onto that he didn't want to talk about?

Move the clock forward to present. I got into Progressive glasses for the first time last year and that was a ROYAL PITA!!!!! 3 eye docs and about 6 different lenses, all in the $500 range just for the lenses. (If I was going to give this a shot I was going to get decent lenses.) Then I got Multifocal Contact lenses as well.

Now if I don't have the glasses on or contacts in I can't even read the damn computer screen!!!!! I had gotten quite fed up with ALL this CRAP!!!

So, I bought a pair of PinHole Glasses that I have on right now while typing this. They aren't as CLEAR as regular glasses and you have to have A LOT MORE LIGHT on whatever you're looking at in order to see through them. So, they're pretty good for looking at computer screens and watching TV.

I'm Farsighted so in order for the Pinhole Glasses to help me I have to MAKE MYSELF read actual BOOKS and Magazines each day. (Haven't started that yet BTW. lol) For Nearsighted people they need to use them while WATCHING TV or OUT WALKING while looking at distant objects for them to benefit the most.

I'm a skeptical person by nature and work off facts. I've only been using the Pinholes on & off for about 2 months. Actual wearing time I would say is maybe 4 days or 96 hours total and my eyes/vision have gotten noticeably better when NOT wearing my contacts or glasses.

I've been wearing the PinHoles for the last 2 days now on & off while on the computer. Last night, with no glasses, pinholes, or contacts on I was actually able to see ALL the fonts on the screen CLEAR with NO BLURR at all. (Woke up this morning and they are a little blurry. It took about 2 hours of reading the screen without ANY glasses before the screen SUDDENLY just POPPED IN clear last night. Then it stayed that way for the next 4 hours until I went to bed.)

My Fiancée is Nearsighted and she was surprised at the small fonts I could read to her. Now she's thinking of trying out the pinholes. She can see out of them just fine but she only tried them for maybe 5 minutes before telling me that she LIKES wearing glasses!!! WTF?!!! WHY?!!! Oh well, I do NOT like wearing glasses or putting PLASTIC shit in my eye that starves my cornea of oxygen!!! Lulz

I found "Eyerobics" on Demonoid about 2 years ago and downloaded it. I had forgotten that I had it until a few months ago when I happened across it. So, I decided to watch it and do the exercises. I did them for about 3 days only and was still wearing my contacts. (NOT while doing the exercises though.)

I got busy and stopped doing them. Then one day about a week later I woke up and when I went to go put in my contacts I realized that I didn't need my Progressive glasses to SEE to put them in. Hmmm......I decided to hold off putting them in. I had CLEAR vision for about 5 hours that day then after working at the computer it got fuzzy again.

So, since the videos talked about the Pinholes I got some. I've decided to put some effort into giving this a shot. It definitely can't HURT.

The worst case scenario is that with the pinholes I have an emergency pair of glasses to let me SEE that won't SMUDGE or SCRATCH. (No scratches that will affect you vision that is.) And I may have spent like 30 hours in 6 months (If I actually follow the exercises.) to improve my vision.

But based on the improvements I've seen with little and sporadic effort I really do need to give it a shot here.

Here's an article about the "Eyerobics" that I got and have been using.

Eyeing Up The Latest Exercise Program

Yes, it seems like "Quackery", but it will only cost you TIME if get it from the Usenet and maybe the $20 it'll cost for the Pinhole Glasses. But, the PinHole glasses are NOT BS. They will let you see whether you are Near or Far sighted. So, you do get your money's worth out of them. (Though most pinhole glasses are CHEAPLY made are overpriced for HOW they are made but not for what they do. )

BTW, when wearing the PinHoles you should periodically look at the INSIDE of the glasses while wearing them and then look back out at whatever you're viewing. This will FORCE your eyes to WORK on focusing. After looking through them for awhile the webbing/honeycombing of the holes pretty much vanishes as your eyes focus outwards and by looking at the inside of the lens it gets your eyes to keep their ability to focus working. This is also how you will KNOW that your eyes are actually starting to focus on their own again. When you first these on your eyes will be trying to focus outwards through the holes and the webbing/honeycombing will be going in & out of focus in your vision until your eye's get fixed on what your viewing through the pinholes.

This is where regular glasses seem to have hindered my eyes. By having the lenses do the magnifying AND redirecting how light hits my retina. With the pinholes the excess light is taken out of the equation(For my slight astigmatism.) and this allows your eyes to FOCUS and let you see while wearing them. In turn your eye's ability to FOCUS starts to work again and improve for when you are aren't wearing anything.

Do I think my vision will ever get back to the 20/10 I had up until I was 40? No, but if it does I won't be surprised either. If this allows me to work at the computer and see everything without the need of glasses I'll be satisfied that the effort was worth it.

Will this stuff work for everyone? NO!!! But it will for the majority of the population I'd be willing to bet.

If you IGNORE the child-like style of the diagrams and just read the INFO at this site you'll get a pretty good understanding of what needs to be done to make your vision better without glasses or surgery.

NATURAL EYESIGHT IMPROVEMENT - BATES METHOD - FREE LESSONS

I have several eyesight improvement programs and the Eyerobics by the Australian woman Bethany Alldridge is the best one by far. To do both the short and long version takes me about 45 minutes. Not counting the going outside to look up at the sun with your eyes closed.

^^^ Thanks, Midas. I'm going to give this a shot. I'm nearsighted and have been wearing glasses since I was 8 or so.

From everything I've read, nearsighted individuals have MUCH greater success with the eye exercises than nersighted people like me. And I'm actually both surprised and somewhat amazed at the change in my eyes with such little effort so far.

Today it took about 30 minutes after waking up for my vision to become clear again. I still have to use the PinHoles at the computer, but the letters are less fuzzy with them off. I'm pretty sure that if I were to TOUGH IT OUT like the other night I would again be able to read the screen with just my own eyes. But, I don't have 4 hours right now to fumble through things. So, I'll just use the PinHoles to get by while doing the exercises.

I still don't know if the changes are permanent after a period of time or if you have do the daily exercises for life. But, it would seem that taking just 10 minutes a day to do the short version would be worth it to NOT have to wear glasses all the time.

I wish you well on better eyesight.

I uploaded the videos that I've been using at this link: Vision.zip download - 2shared

Just a quick update.

I've only been doing the exercises for 4 days now. I'm typing this without even the PinhOle Glasses.

My vision is now quite good when I first wake up even.

I've now found that it is my left eye causing most of my blurred vision while trying to read and work at the computer.

Just got back from walgreens to get a Convex eye patch like they had listed on their website. $4 bucks. lol

I'm going to start covering my right eye a few hours a day and force my left eye to work a little more and see how that does.

If I close my left eye while typing this the letters are almost perfectly clear. With both eyes open they seem to be a little larger but are somewhat blurred.

Yesterday it seemed that my eyes were actually getting a little worse. (Maybe a little tired from doing the exercises? I dunno.)

But so far today they have gotten exponentially better than they were 5 days ago.

So, since my brain is having to combine the blur image of the left eye with the pretty clear image of the right eye I figured I will try working only the left eye for a few hours a day so as to not have the gap/discrepancy between the two eyes continue.

I'll post back up in a bout a week or so to update whether working the weak eye a little bit more actually helps me to have clearer vision.

Just being able to sit here WITHOUT glasses, contacts or the PinHoles is AWESOME!!

im checkin all ur stuff midas. i cant see monitor without glasses yet i hate em i go to street without em. i often dont see what bus comes or whatever bu i dont care. still id prefer to live without glasses

These are the Pinhole Eyeglasses I got [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Eyes-Glasses-Black-Frame/dp/B000K7AH4C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345683545&sr=8-1&keywords=pinholes+glasses"]Amazon.com: Natural Eyes: Pin Hole Glasses, Black Full Frame Kit 1 Kit: Health & Personal Care[/ame]

You shouldn't try to drive with them, but you can walk around and do just about anything else in them and still be able to see.

Just keep them in your pocket if you want and then only use them when you absolutely need to. They won't smudge and if they get scratched you won't see the scratch when wearing them.

You'll be able to see your monitor with them on and take them off from time to time to let your eyes focus on their own for a bit.

They also exercise your eyes focusing ability while wearing them.

You might want to get some.

I just bought these.

PINHOLE SUNGLASS EXERCISE MYOPIA NATURAL HEALING GLASSES VISION EYESIGHT IMPROVE | eBay

If they don't work well, I'll buy the ones on Amazon. I can't wait to try this stuff out.

Those look like they should work. The lenses are a little smaller and might let more light in than the ones at Amazon, but they should still work for you I would think.

I can't believe that they're pitching them as "Sunglasses" though. All the stuff I've read has said to be VERY CAREFUL when wearing these outside when it's a bright & sunny day.

As in DO NOT LOOK UP AT THE SUN or the SUN'S reflection off of glass, a mirror, or shiny metal.

This is because these hole FOCUS and basically CONCENTRATE the light through the holes DIRECTLY into the back of the eye and onto the FINE VISION CONES there.

So, looking at the Sun or it's bright reflection could damage your retina. And do it in a much shorter period of time than if you weren't wearing pinhole glasses.

I wear my pinholes outside but make sure to look away from bright reflections and I don't look up at the sun.

If you have trouble using them at first, try wearing a baseball cap and then cup your hands around the sides of the glasses to block out any light from the sides and top that will reflect off the inside of the lenses.

This will let you SEE much faster and clearer through them. Then once you get an idea of what they will eventually do for you, you can just wear them normally and your eyes WILL adjust through the reflected light.

In fact, seeing through the reflected light and the pinholes is a part of how these help your eyes to start focusing on their own again.

I only suggested blocking the outside light at first so you can see just what they will be like after a few days of wear and getting use to them.

I had read some reviews where people were PISSED that they couldn't see through them at first and then gave up on them.

I'm pretty sure it was the reflected light. But once you get use to wearing them it won't be a problem and it actually helps to strengthen your vision for when you're not wearing them.

I've Found that the clearest vision with these is when watching TV. They became almost completely clear after a few days of using them.

Just an FYI on the Amazon glasses I got. I can BEND/ADJUST them by putting them under HOT running tap water for about 20 seconds or so. (The instructions said to set them in BOILING hot water for 3 minutes and then to bend them. My tap gets hot enough it would seem.) Then I just hold them in the position that I bent them too until they cool down and they STAY in that position. Both the Arms and the Frames can be adjusted this way.

Excellent improvements Midas! Thanks for the share. Isn't it a great feeling to see our sight clearing up? Its like a new world unraveling before our eyes. As I walk down the street I'm seeing and noticing details I would not have noticed before without glasses. Using glasses to view the world is just not the same.

I've incorporated the shoulder, head rotations etc into my regimen. Not very much extra effort on my part as I could for example work the shoulders while doing the far distance exercise. These are good exercises to do regardless of the vision as it loosens my upper back and neck.

Which exercises are you doing from eyerobics?

For those in the UK looking for pinhole glasses, these are the ones I use:

Pinhole Glasses

FIVEOFF will give you 5% off as well. They recommend wearing for 15-20 minutes per day, but I have been using them for like 5-6 hours a day infront of the computer and TV.

Improve stupidity naturally by reading this thread

Doubters gonna Doubt.

I have NO CLUE as to whether this is actually gonna work or not. The exercises that is.

But I do KNOW that the PinHole Glasses will let just about anybody SEE no matter what their prescription is. Doesn't matter whether nearsighted or farsighted.

I've had six different people I know with varying degrees of eyesight problems put these on and they can both read & see at distances with them on.

PinHole glasses have been around for over 30 years commercially, so nothing new or unique about them.

Excerpt from here: Glasses - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Pinhole glasses are a type of corrective glasses that do not use a lens and are claimed to help correct the eye's refractive error without introducing the image distortion of traditional lens-based glasses. Pinhole glasses do not actually refract the light or change the focal length, they operate by reducing the size of the blur circles in the retinal images. In blurry vision, every point on the object corresponds with a blur circle in the image. By reducing the size of the blur circles, they reduce the overlap of the blur circles in the image, clarifying the vision somewhat. They do not heal the eye of refractive error, as sometimes claimed, and vision with pinhole glasses, although clearer than without them, is not as clear as with conventional lenses."

In the article at the Pinhole Glasses hyperlink from the above excerpt, they make a few statements that do NOT line up with my personal findings.

Such as when blinking while wearing them the edges of the pinholes become THICK in your vision again. It is very rare for this to happen to me when wearing them now. This did happen for the first few days and sometimes in the first few minutes of wearing them. But after that, if I'm "FOCUSED" on the computer screen or TV, once my eyes have adjusted to the object & distance I'm viewing I can blink normally and it won't change how well I'm seeing through them.

If I look away from the computer screen to an object across the room my eyes will do that focusing thing until the webbing is almost completely gone. Then it stays that way if I keep looking at that object.

Again, I'm NOT marketing anything here. I'm trying a "personal experiment" and sharing what's happening for me along the way.

Kinda like a Case Study of a campaign.

There a lot of YOUNG guys on this forum who are in front of a monitor for TONS of hours. If in my experiments I can find a way to help them to be able to see better and for longer I think that would be great.

I've stated from the beginning that I don't "expect" to regain PERFECT vision. I'm just looking to be able to see the monitor without glasses that make my vision even worse without them on than before wearing them. The same with contacts.

This may fail and be for naught other than to disprove the exercises and their affects on my vision in the long run.

Here's another article on the PinHole Glasses for anyone interested. Bates Method - Articles: Multiple Pinhole Glasses

Again, I just use the Pinhole glasses when I NEED to be able to see details instead of my prescription glasses or contacts.

So, they are a tool and not a remedy. They do help to exercise my eye's ability to focus and to give my mind a clearer image of an object.

On last thing here, I have NOT read the Bates material yet. So, I"m not one of Sycophant Followers. I've only been doing the Video exercises and caught the ODD article here & there on the Bates Method and the debates about whether it works or not.

BTW, it's been two days now with my eye patch experiment to make my left eye work more.

I can't wear it for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time. My left eyes starts to water something fierce and gets sore by that time.

So I only use it aobut 3 to 4 times a day right now. I'm pretty sure Ill be able to do it longer with time just like the eye exercises.

With the eye exercises it was all I could do to do them all following along with the video the first two days. But now I actually get ahead of her and then pause it to do even more.

My eyes are no longer sore while doing them or after.

My natural distance vision has gotten MUCH sharper during this time.

I was very skeptical about the "Sunning" of the eyes with your eyelids closed. But, I'm starting to think there just maybe something to it.

After YEARS, like over 10 of being inside most of the time and in the dark or under artificial lighting I think the RODS in my eyes process light differently now than they did when I was outside in the sun here in Florida for the 30 years prior.

I only do the sunning for like 30 to 60 seconds at a time and then palm my eyes until it is completely dark again and then I repeat the 30 to 60 second sunning alternated with the palming a few more times.

I've been doing it in the morning around 9 a.m. which is a few hours before I go to sleep. It seems that my inside vision does get sharper after this and has steadily gotten better over the last few days.

Without any glasses, including the pinholes I can now read the digital clock on the stove from the living room which is about 30 feet away and I can read all the fine print in the Lawyer ads on TV now. Lulz

This is now pretty much constant. Where as a few days ago it was quite intermittent.

I'm doing ALL of them.

At first my eyes were getting sore just following along with her. Now I do 3 sets of 20 for each exercise. But only 10 each way for 3 sets on the eye rotations.

I also spend quite a bit of time with the ruler between my eyes. It was easy for my to bring my focus close to my nose and harder for my to control extending it out to the end of the ruler when I first started.

Now I can move my focus close and far quite precisely now.

Due to the head on car wreck at 45 mph last November where I rolled my car twice the calcium crystals in the 3 tubes for balance in each ear came loose and I've had to do Eply Maneuvers to try and reposition them. It has only been about 60% successful.

The interesting thing is that the side to side lifting of the heel while twisting and then opening & closing your eyes while turning has improved my balance and vertigo spells.

It was an unexpected side affect.

I also tried another experiment last night. One I had tried about 8 years ago but couldn't due to getting nauseous and too different a view between the eyes I guess.

I popped the right lens out of my prescription single vision glasses so that my weak left eye would get a little help while my better right eye was seeing on it's own.

I did this for about an hour and would shut my right eye from time to time so that the right side of my brain could get a CLEAR image of the text I was reading. Then I would take the one lensed glasses off and re-read the same text.

It was interesting that the left could see it clearly now with the right eye closed and the right eye would see DOUBLE vertically.

With both eyes open if I looked at the bottom image and ignored the shadowy double image above it I could see and read clearly with just my eyes.

I don't know why this made my stronger right eye see double vertically. I'm assuming that it had/has something to do with the focal point of the eyeglass lens being higher up than my natural eyes' focal height. Not really sure on that as of yet. Nor why my eye with NO LENS was the one that got the double vision. I'll be messing with that a little more as well.

I'm now looking into finding/getting some PinHole glasses that I can take each individual lens out of. This way I can use them instead of prescription lenses to work each eye individually when I want to.

I started typing this with the pinholes on since I've now been up for 20 hours and my vision had gotten a little blurry.

I took them off and could see all of this clear as a bell for the first couple of minutes. Now it's starting to get a little blurry again. I think my eyes are plum tuckered out at this point.

BTW, after looking at how the eye muscles are attached and reading that nearsighted peoples' eyes are LONGER and NARROWER than normal eyes and farsighted individuals such as myself have eyes that are SHORTER and WIDER than normal I remembered seeing a black guy on Ripley's Believe it or not who could make his eyes stick out of their sockets so far they looked like they would fall right out and then he could pull them back DEEP into his eye sockets.

So, I decided to try making mine do something similar to work those muscles as well as the ones in the video.

Thinking of the muscles on the sides of the eyes and using my breathing I can make them move in and out. Not very far mind you, I'd even go so far as to say miniscule movement. But it's enough to see the computer get closer & bigger and smaller & farther away as I do them.

As I inhale I think of pulling the eyes BACK with side muscles and on the exhale I think of the muscles PUSHING the eyes outwards. I know the muscles need to contract in order to work, but the thought of PUSHING seems to make them go outwards and my vision confirms it.

From their normal relaxed position I can either push them out or pull them back. So, the forward motion and vision is not from just relaxing after pulling the eyes backwards.

I guess it's time to crash and give my eyes a break for a few hours.

Its amazing you are able to do all of the exercises, theres alot there. She keeps it straight forward and to the point. It seems like the videos could be designed for far sighted people as her blur point is at the nearer to her.

I do eye rotations 3 times a week, monday, tuesday, wednesdays. My rotations are slow, 10 rotations both ways with eyes open and eyes closed. Its quite intense so need to rest a day. Today i feel my eyes sight is abit worse so i'm going try for 2 days recovery time instead.

You might have to find an object MUCH farther away and maybe do MORE of the "Arm's Length to the small object in the distance" exercises than the close up ones for the convergence drills.

Like me with up close work, you may need to use the PinHoles or your regular glasses once in awhile for distance stuff.

I'd suggest going out walking and looking at things in the distance more often without your glasses or with the pinholes on to help improve your distance vision.

I took two days off to see if longer recovery would make a difference. It did nothing to improve my gains.

When I did the exercises again my eyes were still able to do the same repetitions with the same fatigue rate as doing them every day.

Although, I'm now doing the full video routine and then later I do the eye movements & rotations again without the videos. I do the same 20 reps x 3 sets for the up/down, side/side, and diagonals. Then I do the rotations left 20 times and then right 20 times. I do the 20 reps non-stop right. Then rest for about 30 seconds and then do them to the left. Then rest another 30 seconds before starting the next set.

I was only doing 10 reps each way last week.

For me, I'm getting the BEST results for "MY" vision's main problem which is up close and computer reading from having my eyes closed and looking up at the sun a couple times a day and at night using the 500 watt HALOGEN lamp I have to do do the same.

Though I can tell that I'm able to DART my eyes around from object to object almost TWICE as fast as I could when I first started this. So, I know that the muscles are responding quicker.

The video below will give a better visual of where and how the eye muscles are attached & what their function or affect on the eye's movement is.

Near the end of this next video he talks about the muscles inside the eye that control the lens of the eye. "I" think that the PinHole Glasses help to work these muscles while focusing through them. I may be wrong, but it seems logical to me. (Unfortunately, since I'm old my lens has gotten stiffer and most likely won't bend as easily as it use to. Hence my trouble focusing at up close objects.)

I figured I'd post these up to share some of my findings and research for those interested in trying this.

They help to get a better understanding what the eye exercises, PinHole Glasses, and relaxation can and cannot do to help improve our vision.

Also, My prescription was up in June and I was having trouble seeing out of my glasses and contacts. I was debating on whether to get a new script or not.

Since doing these exercises I can wear my old glasses and SEE JUST FINE through them now. My contacts are good for the computer and up close but my distance vision has gotten so much better that the contacts make far things blurry now.

Before the exercises I could see distance with them but the computer and up close was getting fuzzy due to my script changing.

Today I put the contacts in to work at the computer since I had a TON of reading to do for a project and didn't have the time to be using the PinHoles which slow down my reading time.

After about 3 hours I took the Multifocal Contact out of my strong dominant right eye and just kept the left weaker eye's contact in for the next 3 hours.

When I took it out I was still able to see the computer JUST FINE for another 2 hours and now I've got my single visions on that I use to use ONLY FOR DISTANCE. Now they are letting me see the screen perfectly.

Before the exercises I would have to put my bi-focals on and lean my head back to see through the higher magnification lens at the bottom of my glasses. Or I'd have to slide my chair away from the computer to see with my single vision glasses.

With my single vision glasses I can lean in to about 10 inches from the screen and still read it. at my normal distance and farther away it's perfect now.

BTW, the single vision and bi-focals glasses I'm wearing right now are from a 5 year old script. My current Progressive glasses now HURT MY EYES and are pretty much worthless. The Progressives were also a MUCH stronger prescription than the glasses I'm wearing now. After doing the exercises for about 11 days now with taking two days off My eyes are back to where they were 5 years ago. That's a pretty good return on my investment of time & effort so far.

I'll post up later as I find stuff or there's any change in my vision to report.

I'll continue to just "Roll My Eyes" at scoffers who've been posting in here. I myself have no idea how much this is going to help my vision in the long run, but I damn sure know that I'll NEVER KNOW if I don't take any action or put the required effort into it, along with some sensible research and analysis.

Hmm....that kinda sounded like doing business online eh?

Lulz

Oh, I'm only wearing my glasses and PinHoles for when I have to get a lot read in a short amount of time. I take them off when I leave the computer. I can't do that with the contacts so I'm kinda hesitant to continue the Contact experiment.

One last thing, it would seem that my Eye Patch experiment of covering up my stronger dominant eye and just using my weaker eye to see things is working. I just alternated closing and opening each eye and I can "BARELY" notice any difference between the vision of my left & right eye now.

Before the Patch and the one lens only stuff it was VERY noticeable. The difference in vision between my left & right eye is now negligible. Once they are equal I'll adjust my exercises and other experiments accordingly.

My reason for wearing the pinhole glasses is so i don't need to wear minus lens that causes accommodative stress. If these pinhole glasses help with improving vision then that is a bonus, but I am expecting the improvements to come from the exercises I do.

Here is how slow I do the rotations: (their choice of music is not great)

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6ugNEcnVPk"]Power Vision System - Tutorial 1 [ENG]: ocular rotations with open eyes - YouTube[/ame]

In terms of oscular stretching as in the exercise i detailed above, I still do everyday. The slow rotations every 3 days now.

After I build strength in these muscles, I'll move onto rotations with fixing at a point:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKF5Zgr7mes"]Power Vision System - Tutorial 2 [ENG]: rotations while fixing at a point - YouTube[/ame]

I did about 5 rotations of these about 3 weeks ago. Made me feel nauseous and I had to lie down for 2 hours to feel better. That's why I'm going to wait a few weeks before attempting again.

I have started using the snellen chart to check my progress. I have attached it below so anyone looking to improve their sight can check their progress too (edit: file is too big to attach. Here is the download link: http://www.vision-training.com/en/Download/Eyecharts/Eyechart Black on White.pdf)

From 3 meters away I am able to read the 20/100 line. There is no proper conversion for diopters and snellen, but here is a rough estimate from How Visual Acuity Is Measured :Snellen 20/10

I am able to read the 20/100 using the CRB movement (contraction relaxation and blinking). I am sure I am nowhere near -2.00 diopters but being able to read the line is quite an achievement i feel.

Just a quick note on what the pinholes can do to help with your vision. (I only touched briefly on this in my first post in the thread. Just expanding based on what I'm finding while wearing them for the last 16 days now.)

You have sphincter muscles around your Pupil just like your Asshole.

You also have linear muscles attached to the lens of your eye that contract and relax to to bend the lens of your eye.

While wearing the pinholes, if you close one eye at a time and then look at the webbing between the holes then look out at the distance until they start to vanish again you are exercising the sphincter muscle around you pupil and the linear muscles attached to the lens of your eye as you adjust your focus from near to far.

You can do it with both eyes open but your DOMINATE eye will be getting most of the exercise when both eyes are open. And the eyeball muscles for convergence will be activated more with both eyes open vs. one at a time being open while changing focus distances.
