Hey guys,
Im starting to really get into PPC AM but only have a certain budget so im kinda stuck right now. I'm looking to sign up for a new credit card so i can up my budget after ASW. I have pretty good credit (741 in nov.) I have 2 other cards already but they only add up to 2500 limit. Anyways, I was hoping you guys can suggest some good credit cards and maybe some little tricks too. The main thing I'm looking for is a big ass limit so any tricks to get that up durring the application process would be great. I guess rewards would be pretty sweet too but whatver, lets hear it, what you got:bigear::rasta:

I just signed up for credit cards for the first time in my life. I've never trusted them, and due to my overly paranoid nature, never wanted to be associated with them. But I needed to start building credit so I could buy the penthouse apt in Manhattan, and they told me they don't accept cash either.

It was surprisingly really simple. I got a Citi Platinum card with a $20k limit, but then again, I also have an account with Citibank for years so that could also be why. If you use a major bank, they always have credit cards, and if you have an account with them for more than a year or two, the trust is there, and you can probably score a higher limit. If you want to spend like a bandit and know that you'll be able to pay it back or hit the minimums for one month at most (only paying minimums for too long can get your ass into serious debt) then the best card is Amex. They have no limit.

I started 10 months ago with a $1k limit, my first CC ever, no credit history. I paid it off 100% every month... 3 months in I asked for a raise and got it, to $5k. Every 2 months from then on I've asked for a raise, usually about double. I am now up to $30k limit and got a backup (emergency in case adwords is being f'd up) of $7.5K. With my card you can ask every month for a raise so why don't you try that?

No place can guarantee you a high limit, that is up to Visa, etc. after you apply.

I would definately go with AMEX. I'm not sure how much you are making right now, but you should be able to get $25,000 limit per card right over the phone if you make enough.

Most, if not all Amex's carry zero spending limit. That's why so many idiots in debt got that way through Amex.

Oh.. and whatever you do.. DO NOT use Capital One, they are the worst card company ever. You will be in debt before you know it with them. Never heard a good thing about them.

The AMEX "unlimited" really isn't true. Basically they just aren't telling you your limit.

In Israel for example it's not so difficult to get a credit card with a flexible limit. Especially, when you have some cash in your bank account. Quite often we get calls from our bank if we want to upgrade, etc. It's very handy when you have a limit on your card, right now we building a new house & many costs are deducted from our cards. To have a limit is then a must! Regarding credit card with limit using for paying your ppc bills I am a little bit sceptic though, I mean when your network doesn't pay out for whatever reason you are screwed (especially when you invested a big sum). Therefore I prefer to pay my ppc bills from cash that I already have and not to take any risks, but that's maybe me! :)

well, i applied for the american express blue online and they approved me for 2300 dollrs. Thatll give me a good boost for next month and then ill see whats up with raising my other 2s limits. thanks for the help guys

The $55 a year for Amex-Green is well worth it. Spend the extra $20 for the membership rewards. Blue is more like a traditional credit card. I have the Gold because I am too cheap to spring for Platinum or Black, because I do not travel often enough to use the benefits from them.

I just cashed in points to get first class round trip tickets to Brazil for 5 people at a total cost to me of like $500 in taxes. Took me 3 months to earn the points and I just got like $10,000+ in tickets for almost nothing. Thank You Google, thank you AMEX.

I have also gotten a lot of other really cool things from AMEX. Other trips, big screen plasma, $200 Morton's certificates for friends and employees for gifts lots of other cool stuff.

The limit is really limitless, because they will allow you to pay it down mid-month, while many cc companies have a limit "for your protection" even if you pay it down to zero every day. Every time I go over a certain amount, I just send em a payment from my bank to pay it down. By the time my bill arrives, I have already paid it. I love AMEX.
