I'm back on the scene making toons (LOTS OF PICS!)

We ordered a few of his toons waaaay back in the day. He does EXCELLENT work as you can see. Got my stamp of approval for sure. Now I just gotta find those chicks you made for us.

Thanks so much Jon. Was a pleasure :)

I will also do some more digging :) I am sure we can find them somewhere ... my hard drive crash really screwed me a lot ... but I'm attempting to retrieve all of the data slowly but surely!!!

"Then digital lines, and then color added ... all digital work is done with a mouse :) Thank you btw :)"

That being said, I too would like to know about your process and would be interested to know if your line work is vector or raster.

90% of clients don't need vector ... so I do them as raster in Photoshop but typically a file will be 3000 - 5000 pixels tall ... so resolution, even for printing is usually not a big deal. Client's tell me how they want to use the file generally so I am prepared.

Photoshop CS4 is my tool of choice for digital. Files delivered to clients are layered big style ... a LOT of layers! :)

I'm quite possibly putting a couple of tutorials up soon but I am talking to someone about hosting them :)

Very nice work indeed. I used to draw sketches on paper a lot.

What program(s) do you use if I may ask? I take it you use a digitizer pad of some sort to do the transfer from sketch.

Oh and yeah, NO digitizer pads or anything. I HATE pen tablets! I have two of them from Wacom and I just feel so uncomfortable using them.

Check the soiled pieces of paper in your bathroom drawer! ;>
