Last night my son (not Bob :) ) and his wife had a beautiful 7lb 1oz girl! Mom and baby are doing fine.

He's my oldest son and its my first grandbaby! I love that I'm a grandma!

It's extra special also because there are three gererations again-all my grandparents are gone and both my parents are gone (I do have a wonderful step-dad who's stayed part of our lives, though).
 


That's so fantastic! I know when I had my daughter (the first grandchild on my side) my mom just about exploded with grandmotherliness. Totally changed her - for the better. I hope you live close enough to visit and help :)
