Where would you go and what for? Given this economic climate, that seems to be the best option for a large number of us. What says you?

Hello friend,

If make good internet monies why need for more school?

If want go school for hobby or for learn more it one thing. But to go back with goal of improve future salary then it another.

I no think school a lot help for affiliate marketing particular. If take degree of business maybe learn some good general business concepts. Some cash flow. Some accounting basic and strategy or how to plan. Help some but maybe no lot of help.

If take computer science degree. Maybe learn some programming and can make site and landing page better. But if no good at it now can outsoure for cheap. More cheap then cost in college expense.

Good luck bro.

You want job security from this new education? Try:

Teaching certificate
Plumber
Electrician
Any other skilled labor job that has the potential to move forward and isn't cyclical. (Skip pipe welding, for example.)

There is a HUGE shortage of skilled workers as this sort of work has lost its appeal among the recent generation. However, even a beginning electrician can set his own hours and make upwards of $70 an hour. :)

Good luck!

Computer systems analysts - Median salary: $73,090 Education: bachelor's

what kind of major would that be, computer science?

Dude, you realise that most women don't go on a whim. They go when they're sick, or when they're getting old and dry.

Uh, no. Hate to call failboat on you but you're so far from correct, I gotta! Majority, vast majority, go for simple yearly visits. Once you guys find a girl who will date you, you'll understand!

A lot of computer science programs offer that concentration; sometimes it's just called IT.

Many 2-yr schools are also developing and offering a AAS systems analyst program.

Job security? Plumber? I also hear they are hiring at Starbucks. Oh wait, no they're not.

Well I'm currently in school. Started out with Computer Engineering and didn't want to be behind the desk my whole life debugging code. So I switched to Information Science and Technology. I plan on working in the healthcare industry as soon as I'm out. My aunt and my girlfriends mom both work at a very large hostpital in St. Louis, MO so getting a job with 2 good references (they have 20+ years) will be nice.

I changed to IST because it's both business and technology as well as management. It's what I originally wanted to go into when I started going to school but thought programming would be "cool".

My school has this new nanotechnology program which seems pretty cool. Or chemistry, can't beat making your own drugs and moonshine at home.

I would learn XHTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL and the other tech stuff that completely throws me. That, and advanced film studies. Are they compatible?

I've been in a relationship for more than half a dozen years, and the missus goes and gets her GP to do the annual check, not her Gyno. Same with other women if what I accidentally overhear when she has her friends around for (I shit you not) scones is correct.

Even when you can't afford a latte, you can find the money to fix a broken toilet or busted pipe. Shit happens often. This is true job security. :)
So true. Plumbers and other handy-man types are always going to be there to fix the things people just can't do on their own (and often fuck up worse because of it)
