Ideas for monetizing international traffic.

I've been thinking about trying AuctionAds myself for international traffic. I still don't get how it works though for international traffic. Probably I'm just being dense. My understanding is they get sent to US ebay site? Is that correct? And does it convert well for product based sites?

From what I understand, AuctionAds handles the geotargetting and sends traffic to the appropriate eBay site.

...Nevermind, I read the AuctionAds FAQ another hundred times and I think I finally understand now... geesh!

Because they have family in america, work related, or religious related (just to name a few reasons) I'm in australia and want a green card like anything.

Seriously?? I guess it could make life easier if you travel a lot, but as shitty as Britain can be I don't think I'd ever chose to live in America. They seem to have all the bad bits we have, but bigger and 'better'!

The rich get richer, while the poor..... still haven't got homes in New Orleans!

I guess if ya had a green card you could just take advantage of the benefits without having to live there permanently... if you play by the rules (and you wouldn't have to become a US citizen).

But hey, I'm a bit of a socialist so don't get the 19th century 'land of opportunity' stuff. I'm sure it's attractive to some people, but compared to Australia though... seriously? Why? Are you Australian or do you just live there?

They say that but it doesn't seem to work - not for me anyway, I'm in the UK yet get ads in $$s that direct me to ebay.com.

eBay doesn't pay for referrals to one site that result in a sale on another.

In your case I would try anything that has geolocation on it. Amazon doesnt really have geolocation, but Im sure you can find a simple script to split traffic and show them different products from amazon.com/amazon.co.uk
As aforementioned, Adult friend finder.
And the simplest of all, adsense.
