I need a merchant account

I used 1shopping cart + Authorize.net + Powerpay.biz for my merchant account when I was 18 years old. No credit back then, still got one no problem.
Group Iso = easy as hell to get. kind of a bitch to work with though... I have terrible credit and they gave me an account no problem.
others = intuit, npc = relatively easy.
Neither one is terribly hard to get. Best thing to do is state that your simply a web design company and that services are rendered before payment. Even throw up a simple website that lists like 2 or web packages and their prices (around what you will really be charging). SEO and recurring billing IS considered high risk by most merchant providers...

Does the paypal system allow you to set up regular payments from the client as authorize.net does?
Be smart and do the math. A paypal account is cheaper than a merchant account for several thousand dollars. And yes you can do paypal subscriptions.
Look at e-onlinedata. I filled out their app online and about the 3rd page of the app they had already issued me a merchant account number and I could start charging straight away.
