I need $400 by 10th of May



OP is so desperate for money he just turned down 10 articles I need written, granted I only offered him half the going price ....

In this case
I need $400 != I will work my arse off to get $400
I need $400 = I want someone to give me a piss easy way to get $400 without me doing much.


At the very least make a sig that says "I WRITE ARTICLES" and post in more threads. Failing that stick something in CashConverters.

And Londoners wonder why Eastern Europeans are favoured for so many jobs now??

If you can take one of my sites (low competition) out of the sandbox and back onto the top of the first page by the end of your deadline, I'll give you the money. You only get the money if it makes it back to the at least the third spot on the first page though. Shouldn't be hard, I would do it myself but I have other priorities right now.

oDesk is a great place for freelancing. If you think you are getting peanuts from working then its not actually their fault. There are writers who are paid good because they have exceptional skill in writing. Prove that you are worth extra pay for what you do and bid accordingly.

Bloggers particularly don't get too much as well because the job is quite easy unless you will be hired to write press releases.

Wordpress site creator has almost the same rate as data entry operators. If you want to earn better then you should learn high paying tasks such as programming and coding.

I'm guessing the OP can get 2-3 months worth of rent fairly quickly with this method and enough left over to add Cinemax and Encore channel to their cable service.
 
Whatever you decide to do, here's a quick tip : Do multiple things and not just one thing.. That's what a lot of entrepreneurs and successful rich people do. Something like :

- Have a full or part time job
- Side business & job
- Internet / Affiliate marketing on the side
- Building high quality & content-rich websites and making money from advertisements & adsense. Great passive income and money while you sleep too.
- Freelance
- Search craigslist for side work & small gigs, like the labor section for example. Sometimes people need help moving things and need someone with a SUV, Van, or Truck. Other stuff like giving rides, handing out flyers for a small local business, dogsitting, dogwalking, giving surf, guitar, piano lessons, modeling, video editing for a company or business, etc
- Ask friends, family, and coworkers if they need any help with anything - carwash, lawn mowed, house cleaned, running simple errands, etc
- Lots of ideas. Think creatively and outside the box
