I Love Newbies- Ask Moe Bedard Anything?

I think a lot of people would appreciate it if you went into more detail about these statements. What were you doing, and how did it hurt your sites?

In the beginning I has purchased offers like the one you are selling. It ended up pushing my site rankings down. Once I stopped, it slowly started getting better.

STICKS - Fuck the haters, you are doing a very good thing and helping a lot of people out there and I wish you more success Moe. (no homo)

Thanks so much! There will always be haters on the internets. It must be some type of web only gang?

Ok What process/tips/techniques do you use/recommend to get good quality articles to be published on WSJ, LA Times, fox bus etc

You have to become the expert in your field and be 100% transparent. Be controversial and blog often. Have your own voice. It also helps to be one of the first people in your niche. Then you have to network and help journalists.

OP, dude you rock, I am glad 2 see some1 putting the rest of these so called amazing marketer down a peg,,,
OK simple I am no pro, i probally know less than the newbiess, he he.

I am on this site trying to learn gow to build a solid income,, I hae a friend who is into PPC, dude thats cool but I DONT fancy loosing my money that quickley.
I tolled him I wanted to get in MFA sites etc, and that was it, He is no lOnger interested in helping me out,

Anyway I am going to follow your threads, good luck, Glad 2 see a real TOP DOG,

Remeber we got 2 use the F word 1's.............mother fuckers , smell me.
Thak you Thank you

I can do anything, but I don't know where to start.

I can write, design, program, develop (LAMPP), and generate million dollar ideas like a dollar whore cranking out handjobs.

But, I need direction. I need focus. I've started projects but never completed them because I lost faith that they would actually go anywhere. The information on WF is vast, but there are many tracks to follow, and I have no cash to invest. I don't need cash, though, since I have free hosting through a friend, and the skills to build anything I need.

But, where to start? What is a simple strategy that I can implement and leverage with my abilities and automate from the beginning? I am by nature very lazy and as a Unix/Linux sysadmin, my tendancy is to automate everything. Once I start generating cash, though, that'll motivate me. Even a few bucks a day is good enough to start, if it can scale through tools I'll build.

Moe, you take no prisoners and I like it my man. I myself have static websites and I build content myself frequently. I am a one man operation, 1 of my sites has 120 pages ALL unique content, real pages not skimmed bull crap. My other has about 100 and its almost a year old.

My thing is this, I work hard and rack my brain to make my content enjoyable and unique and as you know, that is real work.

I understand that many people write great articles to give to other blogs, I hate the thought of giving good unique content away. How should I be thinking on this matter? And how do you manage to give away so much content? Do you have a similar version for your own website?

Please help.....

No Thak you ;). You are classic. Just find a monetizable niche and stick to it. It is best to learn only so much and just get to work. Building a website is like building a home off the grid with your hands. Once it is built, you can either rent it out mortgage free or live in for free. MFA and PPC is like crack cocaine, in only lasts a minute or so.

Too much information will kill your concentration.

SUPERGEEK - I can do anything, but I don't know where to start.

I can write, design, program, develop (LAMPP), and generate million dollar ideas like a dollar whore cranking out handjobs.

But, I need direction. I need focus. I've started projects but never completed them because I lost faith that they would actually go anywhere. Your biggest problem is #1 that you are lazy and #2, that you want to automate everything. That is OK because I was that way also.

Every day I wake up, eat good and get primed like a professional athlete would. I don't want to be in college ball, but the pros and make it to the bowl games. My goal is no less than being #1 at my niche. The competition is fierce on the internet and you HAVE to be WILLING to do what others are not willing to do. I do it every day and I am doing it better than fortune 500 companies because they dont have my heart or will.

You need to find a niche that you can zero in on and work on it for 1-3 years. You need to stop thinking churn and burn and live slow and steady. Produce valuable content and become an expert. Dont hide behind gay names or make up shit. People want transparency and honesty. The old days are over and people are more savvy now. Most the methods here are soooooo outdated and blackhat that they should not be followed.

The smartest thing I did was stop coming here and to other forums and went to work for 2 years without even coming here to make a post. Why the fuck post on Jon's form when I can post and monetize my words somewhere else.

Do you need some ideas for niches?

1yerret - Moe, you take no prisoners and I like it my man. I myself have static websites and I build content myself frequently. I am a one man operation, 1 of my sites has 120 pages ALL unique content, real pages not skimmed bull crap. My other has about 100 and its almost a year old.

Thanks so much!

I am a huge believer in free ware. My niches is I give all my content, ideas and help away for free with no strings attached. People such as yourself appreciate that and the snake oil guru haters hate that. The people who appreciate you will link to you and visit your site.

Write articles from your heart to help people in your own voice. Before you write with your heart, make sure that people are searching for a terms using a keyword checker like, Free keyword suggestion tool for SEO, Adwords & blogging. You can also use .gov press releases for free to supplement your writing.

I am licensed under Creative Commons and I also network with other mortgage bloggers. This will get you links.

Also, a forum was the best thing I have done. It is a niche mortgage forum for consumers and not professionals. I was the 1st on the web to do this. Now, many others are trying to copy me.

In addition, listen to EVERYTHING Matt Cutts says and model your websites accordingly to rank in Google.

Good luck!

So what made you change your mind?

That Creative Commons tip is GOLD! Thanks, I will try and get licensed with them as well!

Great, you will have to pass a test on how creatively common you are, but I am most certain you will pass. ;)

Art-Deco - Moe giving you rep is like linking to Matt Cutts. Nevertheless +rep.
Haha, thanks! I'll take this as a compliment. :)

To be perfectly honest, if you read and watch Matt Cutts videos, you will not need to research anything else on building a quality website and ethical SEO. You should take his words as the golden grail to Google and then just get to work on your intellectual property.

I find that most information on the web in relation to SEO and webmasters is a distraction and fork in the road to your ultimate success. To succeed, you have to take the right road and just ignore the irrelevant forks in the journey. Take the irrelevant fork in the road and you are stuck in a plethora of good intentions, but ultimate failures.

pure savage - i sent you a pm, please review,..if its ok with u

That is my niche. Sharing my knowledge with those that care to embrace and appreciate it. It is no different than a Suzi Orman, Dave Ramsey or Jim Cramer from Mad Money, I just do my thang on the internets.

I never thought giving free knowledge, ideas and content would be so profitable.

Can anyone say Google? GMail? Wordpress? Facebook? PlentyOFish? Sugar CRM?

Free is not profitable in the beginning, but if you play your cards right, free content, forums, or software is the ultimate path to riches on the internet. Not PPC, affiliate offers or pay for guru advice.

Clyde - So what made you change your mind?
Everything I do is for a reason.

#1. Working by on the internet gets lonely at times. This place is like the dive bar down the street I used to get drunk at. It is dark and dingy, but they got great beer, everyone knows your name and you have a good time by escaping from the real world for a minute.

#2. I am here to pay it forward because I am HUGE believer in good Karma and doing what is right. It comes back 100 fold.

#3. To establish myself as an authority on building content websites, Google Adsense, internet marketing and SEO. I hope my efforts will possibly garnish me a role as a Guide here or attract webmasters to my blog who care about being ethical and want to build a internet business the right way.

TacoX - This thread digressed so quick... that's why I love wickedfire.

I assume you were hoping for more rants, fights and internet gangsta smack downs? Well, I already smacked Kenny boy down for being the idiot he is, so I assume the other so called internet " gangsta pros" do not want to get their smart a$$ affiliate comments shoved up their small peters.

I couldn't help but bust out laughing at this. If that's what you do, then I'm going to go ahead and sprint in the other direction.

Haha. I'm glad someone saw the reality of what was going on in this thread. Thanks you.
